I havent watched the HotD and I never will, but I did watch one short clip on Youtube of Daemon Targaryen being 42 times worse and more ruthless person than Dany ever was and the comment section was full of people praising how he would have made a great king 🤡 dicks are important

Pretty much everyone in GoT was more violent than Daenerys but because she used her dragons sparingly against her enemies in war instead of assassinating, poisoning, stabbing, and bludgeoning people to death with her bare hands she was of course the most ruthless and violent one. Her satanic majesty, remember? D&D went out of their way to take everything from her, and they did it in the most disgusting sexist way they possibly could. Stay unemployed forever, idiots.

Remembered that another way they like to portray female rulers is to paint them as succubuses who use sex as a weapon to manipulate "good" men into sacrificing everything for them. Also something that has happened with Cleopatra. DnD thought they were sO eDgY aNd nEw with their misogynist Sansa.

That's exactly what Rome did to Cleopatra when they learned of her relationships with Julius Ceaser and later Mark Antony. Seductress who corrupted them and all that blah blah blah. Its widley suggested that she wasn't even that beautiful but I recently read that she may have actually altered her appearance in works of art and forms of currency as Hatshepsut (who famously portrayed herself as a male pharaoh with a false beard and all) had done over a thousand years before her.

Coins with her portrait show her with manly features and a large, hooked nose, though some historians contend that she intentionally portrayed herself as masculine as a display of strength which is exactly what Hatshepsut did. In today's world it's like the equivalent of dressing down or giving a strong firm handshake in order to be taken seriously by your male peers in a meeting or something.

Do you think Geralt is infertile in the show because he had his balls ripped off? Imo would be kinda lame if Yen is infertile because she has literally her parts brutally removed, but when it comes to Geralt 'oh it was just magic process and not physical at all'.

Nope, in his case just regular old magic did that to him. He just shoots blanks. 🤷‍♀️

Why Yennefer's transition had a price which involved ripping her uterus out was unnecessary, so you'll not find me defending the show in that. It's not like that in books. All mages lose it with increased use of their magic. The ovaries atrophy and that's the end of it there. Guess they just wanted to make her transformation brutal and visceral.

Also I'm going to assume this was a way for them to spell it out indefinitely to the audience that she can't have kids and why she's so motivated to reverse her predicament. Doesn't mean I like how it was handled though : /

Who do you prefer voicing Harley, Hynden Walch or Tara Strong? I personally think Tara's Harley voice is a little too high-pitched and whiny, but Hynden's is almost as great as Arleen Sorkin's.

Ooh, tough choice! I love both of their Harley voices. I guess I’d have to go with Tara Strong, if only because sometimes I really can’t tell the difference between her Harley and Arleen Sorkin’s Harley.

Release date of Suicide Squad is actually my birthday so now that Mistah J is apparently played by Marilyn Manson, my next b-day is ruined. :( Thanks a lot David Ayer and Jared Leto. I can already imagine comics that will follow with this awful look.

So David Ayer (as of now I can’t blame Leto too much, as he may not even have had any input in the costume) ruined not only a beloved character, but your birthday as well?!
