The political races in TN are going to be interesting

Senate Race 2018 to fill Senator Corker (R)’s seat.

Congressional Representative (R) - TN Marsha Blackburn, parrot of the now Trump GOP party, is running for Senator Corker’s seat in the fall.  She is going up against former Governor (D) - Phil Bredesen, a relatively popular Democratic moderate who actually has a chance of winning, and one other Democrat, who also .

Two other Democrats are running for Corker’s seat.  I surely do hope one wins.

Marsha Blackburn refuses to disapprove of Trump by name, is running on tough border laws (have you checked where Tennessee is on the map?) , and gave a bunch of excuses to vote against net neutrality.  Kellyanne Conway comes down here as does Mike Pence (yesterday) to campaign for her.  Marsha Blackburn supports policies for corporations while talking the talk about American values.  The entire schtick is heinous.  Even Bob Corker is not enthusiastic about endorsing her.

While Marsha Blackburn is giving up her Representative seat to go for the Senate, 5 candidates are running for her seat (after she ran uncontested for the last election in a primarily solid Red district).  Two are Democrats, Two are Independents, and 1 is a Republican.

Keep your eye on Justin Kanew (D) who announced his candidacy early in Trump’s presidency.  He’s new to politics, but engaging, moved to TN recently from California, and seems determined as hell.

There is an actual possibility of flipping a Senate seat and a Representative Seat blue in Red Tennessee.

These Democrats deserve as much support as Osoff in Georgia and Lamb in Pennsylvania.  It could happen.  Keep your eyes peeled!
