The Soulless Slayer

Losing your soul is a lot like losing your virginity; it’s much prized while it’s there, but once it’s gone, you don’t really miss it. Of course, the world will judge you for not having it anymore, but who cares about the world? Similarly, losing your soul is also akin to losing your memory; you forget what it was like to even have the thing in the first place.

“Pony?” Called Drusilla cheerfully, joining the newly risen Slayer on the balcony. “Pony had the wishing eels plucked from beneath her breast. Grr...”

She nuzzled her lovingly, looking out over the city-scape of Berlin as she did so. 

“I love London.” She sighed dreamily.

Being human

Raphael woke up with a groan. There was a tree branch pressing uncomfortably against her left side, she was absolutely filthy and the pounding in her head was unbearable. This was the reason why she hated hunting organised groups of demons. They were prepared, worked as a team. And managed to poison her with silver five minutes into the fight. She still killed them all before passing out, but damn, that hurt. She rolled over, her ribs protesting greatly, and slowly sat up. There was something strange going on. She felt different. As if her wounds hurt too much and her senses were less sharp. She could barely see in the darkness and there was that odd feeling, like her heart had started beating again. She checked for her lack of pulse, and instead found it. She felt it pick up as she started to freak out. Just a moment after, she felt sick. One excruciating hour later she was at her doorstep, covered in dirt and blood and black and blue and fucking alive. Raphael entered her place, favouring her good leg, and found her slayer still awake, sprawled on the couch and watching TV. The girl smirked when she saw the state Raphael was in. "Don't fucking start. I've had the worst night ever. I'm going to take a shower and then go straight to bed. Night Kan"

An Apology

(( Okay, so I could post this on all my blogs.  However, some of you follow me on several, and I don’t want to cause a flood on anyone’s dash.  Also - it would take more time than I want to put into this and it’s just so much easier to post in one place, and then tag everyone.  Not sure who I am?  Take a look at my blogs here: http://purpledragon42.tumblr.com/munblogs   That will probably tell you, and if you’re still not sure, shoot me a message.  ^_^  There are actually a handful of you that I owe replies to on multiple blogs.  

Okay, with that said - on to the apology.  I know my replies have been few and far between lately for pretty much everyone, and I apologize profusely for that.  I’m dealing with a lot of issues at work, and also some issues at home because of work.  I don’t like to get on my blogs and talk about personal stuff.  That’s not why these blogs are here and that’s not why most of y’all follow me, so I’m not going to go into things any more than that.  In addition, as a stress reliever, I have a gif-creation blog that I've been using quite a bit lately.  Again, in regards to the ‘real life’ related stuff.  It’s a fun, mindless activity that I enjoy and can lose myself in a lot more easily than writing (because that requires thinking.)  ^_^;

To top it all off, I’ve been informed that for the next several month my hours are going to increase at work.  For my bank account and my bills, that’s a wonderful thing!  Not so much, of course, for my blogs...or my free time in general, but I’m going to do my best to get at least a little caught up before that happens (hopefully.)  

Right, so, all of that said, I am not planning to go on hiatus on ANY of my blogs.  Some may get replies more frequently than others because it’s a lot less daunting to tackle a blog where I only owe three replies than to tackle one where I owe 15+.  I’m sorry, but that’s a mindset I haven’t been able to shake off just yet.  I’m a completionist, and once I start writing, I have this /urge/ to clean out the whole draft box no matter how detrimental it might be to my sleep or other parts of my life.  :-/

Anywho - I just wanted to let everyone know what was going on.  None of you are to blame.  I ADORE every RP I’m a part of on ALL of my blogs.  They are awesome, your muses are awesome, and all of you people who put up with me and my erratic replies - YOU are the most awesome of all!  Please don’t think I don’t want to RP; that is not the case at all!

Also, I tagged a couple of you in my actual tags because Tumblr wouldn’t let me ‘@ tag’ you on this blog.  *shrugs*  Hopefully everyone will see this.  If you do, a quick ‘like’ to let me know so that I’m not sitting around worrying about it would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you all so much for your patience and understanding.  <3 ))

Jonathan has no clue why he’s here. He remembers the knife in his gut, remembers everything going fuzzy and black and warm, and then . . . 

He’s in this godforsaken motel, in the middle of freaking nowhere, and he has to share the building with at least a dozen other spirits, not all of whom are quite as nonthreatening as Jonathan. 

He has no corporeal form, no voice, no magic, and this sucks. It’s been months, and Jonathan is tired. So he settles himself into a desk drawer in a backroom of the motel to sulk.
