I didn’t know about this server at all and seeing it’s like this gave me emotional whiplash
Hey dude, I wanna apologize for making you go through that, it’s one of the few reasons why I was so really self conscious about posting this too.
As anyone can tell you, Beowulf has a huge place in my heart, not for just being a good character overall, but he inspired me to sorta be myself as I am now, which is why I also wanted to be good at playing with him and so led me to that discord. Unfortunately, this stuff has been going on since like, 2017 and it severely hurt me as both a part of the SG community + a Beowulf fan because it’s just... A lot to go through, especially having to document this so others know exactly what type of crap is going on.
I really apologize about how badly you must feel (I feel pretty sucky too about it all) and if you want, I’m open to talk about it with you, but know that honestly you’re not alone. I really expected more but, honestly sometimes these guys aren't even up for that. It’s the power of internet anonymity.
Anyway, I’ll be posting some positive stuff after this and some headcanons too for self care. Having to post this really was a big burden to have to read and witness as well. Please take care, sip some water, hug your loved ones and get your mind off things. Your mental health comes first and you are both valid and loved. Always remember that.
