KANPUR: A man hacked his 23-year-old wife to death in the Bhognipur area of Kanpur Dehat and then went to the police station to confess to the crime on Tuesday night. He told the cops that he used to have arguments with his wife because would frequent her maternal place regularly. Circle Officer, Bhognipur, Prabhat Kumar said that the incident was reported on Tuesday night when Ram Kumar, a street vendor, and a resident of Majariya Umariya village reached the police station and asked the cops to visit his house where his wife Uma’s body is lying. He told the cops that an argument had broken out between him and Uma. “Ram Kumar said that he was not happy with his wife’s habit of visiting her maternal home often. He killed her using a spade as she had hit him with a brick over the same dispute in the night,” said CO. When she fell unconscious, he dragged her to their room and himself left for the police station. “Police later recovered the spade from the room itself,” the CO added. Uma’s father Chandrapal, who also reached the spot, told investigators that there was a programme at his home in which his daughter Uma also came. Two days back, Ramkumar had taken Uma from her house. “My daughter has been murdered for dowry,” said Chandrapal. Later, he filed a complaint accusing his son-in-law Ram Kumar, mother-in-law, father-in-law and other relatives of being involved in the murder of his daughter. लखनऊ : दो दिन खूब मीडिया में सुर्खियां बटोरने वाली गाजियाबद की ज्वांइट मजिस्ट्रेट सौम्य पांडेय को समेत योगी सरकार ने दो अधिकारीयों के तबादले कर दिए | बता दें कि मुख्य विकास अधिकारी कानपुर देहात जोगिंदर सिंह को बरेली विकास प्रधिकरण का उपाध्यक्ष बनाया गया है वहीँ 15 दिन की बेटी को ऑफिस का काम निपटने के चलते खूब शुर्खियोंओ में रहने के चलते सौम्या पांडेय ज्वांइट मजिस्ट्रेट गाजियाबद का सीडीओ कानपुर देहात बनाया गया है। सौम्या पांडेय नन्ही सी बेटी के साथ ड्यूटी पर लौटी थीं। बेटी के साथ ड्यूटी की फोटो सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हुई थी।

संघ लोक सेवा आयोग की आईएएस परीक्षा 2016 में पहले प्रयास में ही अखिल भारतीय स्तर पर चौथी रैंक लाकर पूरे देश में प्रयागराज का मान बढ़ाने वाली सौम्या पांडेय एक बार फिर चर्चा में हैं। एसडीएम मोदीनगर के रूप में तैनात सौम्या ने कोरोना काल में समाज की सेवा के लिए मां बनने के महज 14 दिन बाद कामकाज संभाल लिया था। दुधमुंही बच्ची को गोद में लेकर दफ्तर में फाइलें निपटाती सौम्या का वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हो रहा है। उनके इस क़दम से उनकी देशभर में तारीफ़ हुई।

सौम्या ने डिलेवरी के लिए 8 सितंबर को अवकाश लिया था। पिता रवि पांडेय ने बताया कि सरकारी नियम के अनुसार उन्हें अधिकतम नौ महीने की मातृत्व अवकाश मिल सकता है। लेकिन 17 सितंबर को डिलेवरी के मात्र 14 दिन बाद एक अक्तूबर को फिर से कार्यभार ग्रहण कर लिया। हाशिमपुर मोहल्ले की रहने वाली सौम्या पांडेय आर्ट आफ लिविंग परिवार की सदस्य रही हैं। 2017 बैच की ट्रेनिंग के बाद उनकी पहली नियुक्ति मोदीनगर एसडीएम के पद पर हुई। मार्च 2020 को सौम्या को ग़ाज़ियाबाद में बतौर ज्वाइंट मजिस्ट्रेट की ज़िम्मेदारी के अलावा पूरे जिले की कोविड मॉनिटरिंग सेल का प्रभारी बनाया गया। रोज़ाना ज़िलाधिकारी के अलावा अन्य अधिकारियों से समन्वय करने की ज़िम्मेदारी सौम्या पांडेय ने बख़ूबी निभाई। उनकी शादी आईएएस अधिकारी नितिन गौर से हुई है।
