So the drama CD that shows Todomatsu and Jyushimatsu as cops gave me feelings so I re-drew it only with the two official officers from Osomatsu Kun run of the 80s, Officer Honkan and Officer Katsumi. Two really fun characters in their own right, both with roots spreading throughout almost all of Akatsuka’s mangas too.

I just really like the comedic timing of this moment. How all of them silently watch the toy plane slowly roll away.

What’s Found in The Rain - Read it on Archive of Our Own

I was asking for doodle requests and my friend Jay requested this scene from my fairly new fanfic. So here, have Officer Katsumi finding abandoned baby Chibita in the rain.

It’s a personal head canon of mine that  Butamatsu, a pig gang leader from Akatsuka’s other manga Moretsu Ataro,is cousins to Kaoru-chan. There’s just something about the two of them that seems familiar, and it extends beyond the same buck teeth.

So I had to quickly doodle the two together.

Officer Katsumi makes a cameo in the ‘Iyami in 40 years’ episode (ep 75) showing he’s still a police officer, and Kaoru-chan is still around only she’s turned from a regular doll to a hand puppet.

Iyami had to be told by the teacher that they’re meant to hold hands with their buddies when going on field trips. He was not a happy camper.

Iyami was a very confused, complex child.

Note: it was revealed in the manga where they got married that Iyami and Kaoru went to school together and Iyami bullied Kaoru a lot
