“NO.“  ANSWER  COMES  SIMPLE.  perhaps,  more  emotion  based  than  it  should  come  from  someone  so  clinical.    he  thinks  it  through  then,  taking  in  all  the  equations.  straight  answers  are  not  ideal,  specially  when  speaking  of  humans  and  their  mentality  and  how  it’s  based  upon  fear  of  the  unknown.  “I  believe  they  think  they  are  on  the  right.  they  fear  that  they  don’t  understand.    that  fear,  leads  to  anger,  and  anger  to  destruction.  it’s  not  you  who  is  the  problem,  wanda.  it’s  them.  they  are  only  human.“  they  fear  him  too.  they  fear  those  who  possess  powers  unlike  anything  humanity  had  seen  before.  the  universe  is  expanding  so  fast  upon  their  eyes,  change  scares  them.    “what  matters,  is  what  you  think  of  yourself.  perhaps,  the  most  important  thought,  and  the  one  that  should  matter.“  does  she  see  herself  as  they  see  her?  or  she  had  assimilated  their  thoughts  as  her  own?  perhaps,  they  both  do  things  to  ease  humans  around  them.  vision  has  a  disguise,  he  pretends  to  breathe  and  blink  in  order  to  ease  those  around  him.  “either  way,  you  should  never  hide  who  you  are.  and  who  you  are,  is  beautiful.“

aw,  blood,  no.    it’s  only  her  words  that  bring  attention  to  the  spot  on  his  side  that’s  leaking  blood,  right  through  a  purple  shirt.  he’s  only  human,  body  a  mosaic  of  bruises  and  scars  and  a  variety  of  other  pain  points.  anything  short  of  requiring  a  hospital  visit  is  something  he  likes  to  brush  off  with  the  help  of  caffeine  and  a  bucket  load  of  advil.  no  hospital,  no  real  pain,  he’s  just  glad  she  caught  it  before  he  could  bleed  all  over  his  couch   —   again.  instead  of  staying  on  his  feet,  or  ruining  a  cushion,  he  allows  himself  to  drop  to  sit  on  the  floor,  hand  waving  in  the  direction  of  the  kitchen.  ❛   shit.  grab  me  a  bandaid  from  the  first  aid  kit  ?   ❜  he  glances  down  at  the  red  on  his  shirt,  gives  it  an  unwise  poke.   ❛   maybe  two.   ❜
