“Ugh boss its so hot” groaned the red head, causing the blonde to roll his eyes.
“you’re the one who called me asking if i wanted to go on a walk, which i have to admit surprised me, where’s Hikaru?” Tamaki asked, he was truly surprised when the younger twin had called and asked if the blonde would like to go on a walk around the park with him. Just Kaoru…no Hikaru.
“We don’t have to be together 24/7 boss, Hikaru’s busy with….someone else” Kaoru replied “Anyway i thought, why not hang out with you today? we don’t really hang out much…just the two of us”
That was true, the only time Kaoru and Tamaki spent time together was within host hours or host activates…and the other hosts were around at that time, but why would Kaoru want to spend time with him? of all poeple.
Suddenly Tamaki heard a chime, His head perked up as he discovered the source, He smiled and grabbed Kaoru’s hand causing the other to jump “Come on lets get some ice cream, that’ll cool us down!” The blonde said excitedly as he dragged Kaoru to the van, still holding his hand, in his excitement he never noticed the blush on Kaoru’s cheek.
The two were now sitting on a bench, Tamaki eating his strawberry ice cream, whilst Kaoru ate a chocolate one, and fairly enjoying it. Tamaki watched Kaoru eat is ice cream and couldn’t help but relate him to a child, Some of the ice cream was dripping down his hand as Kaoru tried to keep up with the rate the cold treat was melting in this hot sun. The blond smiled as he took a lick of his own ice cream.
Kaoru felt a stare and turned to see Tamaki look at him, He blushed but held out his ice cream to the blonde “Want to try it?” He asked, Tamaki hesitated for a second before leaning in and taking a lick of the chocolate ice cream, He offered Kaoru a bit of his.
The redhead smiled and leaned in, only to miss hos mouth and get some on his nose, Tamaki gave a little laugh and got out a tissue from his pocket.
“You’ve got a little on your nose” He said noting Kaoru’s confused expression, He wiped it off with the tissue, feeling Kaoru’s face heat up, He slowly removed it “T-there..all gone”
“T-thank you boss” Kaoru blushed.
Tamaki smiled and jumped off the bench, He turned offering Kaoru his hand “Come on, lets walk some more…I think theres a matter we need to discuss” Tamki said, Kaoru smiled and took the blondes hand
“Yeah me too” The two walked off together, hand in hand, both happy about what the near future might bring.
