when i was just about to move.. i went to my favorite place in the entire world and just sat there and read. i read the first book read to me. at that moment while it seemed like i was packing my life away, i read the old man and the sea on the dock i grew up on by the water i learned how to fish on, how to drive a boat, how to randomly jump off the sea wall just for fun. it’s how i grew up and honestly i will never forget that.
