what was the fool's gold drama i'm hearing about? all i remember was reading it and that it was the biggest fanfic in the fandom i dont remember anything negative about it
Oh gods.
Yeah, it was huge for a while. And by huge I mean that it got to the point where you’d wonder if something about s2 had been revealed or if the post in question was talking about FG canon. I tried to read it and found the writing mediocre at best and the story not at all compelling, so I stopped like two chapters in. HSAUs aren’t my thing in the best circumstances. And I think I blacklisted the tag? So I have no idea.
But that’s all personal preference with no clarifications on the fandom drama. I do know that it was abandoned halfway through the story for some reason? I hope it wasn’t anything bad that happened to anyone and I wish the writers all the best, but personally I also hope that thing never rises from the grave.
