TENDO SATORI

If you could ask any of his closest friends, no one would have seen coming how much of a hopeless romantic Tendo could be. He was such a constant tease to everyone, keeping up with the sardonic act restlessly, that it amazed everyone when he became softer and softer out of the blue. It was all thanks to someone—a girl who seemed too short compared to how tall he was even when her height fell perfectly on the average.

Even Tendo was surprised. He knew love would come his way sooner or later, but he wasn’t prepared for all the changes it would bring upon him. He quickly found himself in need to give affection and receive it in return. As he sat on his university class, he couldn’t wait for them to end so he could run to her and do the utmost trivial things together.

And that was exactly what he did. A coffee and a walk on a late autumn evening sounded like heaven. Either his standards were getting lower or he was that knees-deep in love with the girl. He was aware it was the second one, no questions asked.

He breathed in the warmness of his coffee as they strolled leisurely. She was rambling about the classmate her professor had assigned her as a partner while she raised her scarf a little higher with her coffee on her other hand. The sun was beginning to set, which meant the temperature was getting lower.

Tendo observed her with a persistent eye, prohibiting himself to miss any detail of how her eyes wrinkled or the way the corner of her lips lifted on certain parts of her story. He scanned her a bit more. Her lips wore a soft red hue thanks to the chopstick she kept applying to stop them from getting dry. Her cheeks and nose were slightly pink due to the cold air against their faces. She hadn’t put any make up that day so her natural eyelashes flapped lighter giving her a much more younger air.

She scrunched her nose before chuckling at herself. “Sorry. I’m probably tiring you with all of this,” she apologized with a smile that melted him to the ground.

Tendo sighed deep and longing. “I could kiss you right now.” She blushed in response adding more color to her already pink cheeks and tried to push him away playfully but she wasn’t able to move him even one inch. He only bent in the search of her lips, his cold fingers soon finding her chin to turn her head his way.

HINATA SHOYO

Hinata was a guy who was constantly on the bright side of life. He kept his energy at one hundred and tackled every obstacle fearless. He wasn’t a stranger to talking about what he wanted of life, what he wanted to achieve. What was a rare instance was for Hinata to get actually deep—to talk about his fears and all he had lost.

It was only natural for them to get nostalgic since their last year of high school was close to ending. March was rolling just as fast as every month, the spring slowly replacing the hard winter.

They walked upstairs, leaving the subway behind. They were returning to the calm neighborhoods after spending the day at the city. Somehow on their way back, the conversation had turned soulful, and now Hinata was staring the night sky with a soft smile.

She couldn’t help to realize he was much taller than when she had met him. Also, his hair was shorter and he didn’t seem as childish as he used to. “I sometimes really missed them, you know? The whole team, back when I was in my first year,” he said after a while in silence.

“But you guys still talk all the time.”

“Yeah, but it isn’t the same. They always try to come to watch the games but sometimes aah, I wish you could have seen us play back then.”

She and Shouyo had properly talked until their second year, which meant she had missed a whole ton of things. Every basic and important personal relationship of his had to be explained in detail and a lot of time passed before she could properly meet the guys Hinata had rambled about so enthusiastically all the time.

“I wish I could have met you sooner,” he bluntly admitted, his eyes shining like the stars themselves. “Everything would have been ten times better if you were with me since back then. It would all have been even better.”

A soft warmness spread on her chest, and inevitably, a big wavy smile formed on her face. She cupped his face to his surprised. “I could seriously kiss you right now.”

Hinata face burned like fire making her chuckle. It didn’t matter how much time they had been dating, it was always too easy to send him off the edge.

Are you doing matchups? If you are, I'm 5ft tall, long black hair, dark brown eyes with glasses. I play basketball and video games. I'm a competitive, aggressive, and a slight perfectionist. I always tend to tease people, irritate them and make them mad. I'm the type to prefer sports, converses/Jordans, hoodies, jeans, dark colors than girly stuff. I'm extremely loyal to people who I care about. and my type of guy is someone taller than me, who has a competitive side and a bad boy hint to him.

Tsukishima and Ushijima!

Tsukishima would appreciate your edgy style, seeing as it’s a bit different from the norm. When it comes to teasing, he’d be satisfied with going back and forth with you on a regular basis. He doesn’t get upset quite easily, but when he does, he knows you’re only egging him on and tries not to fall for it. Because you have a passion for sports, he wouldn’t hesitate to welcome you to their games, and even to practice with the rest of his team. And loyalty means a lot to him. He’s hooked. Congrats~!

Ushijima loves a good challenge. Being the competitive person he is, he’d really love having someone with confidence on his side. Loyalty is also key in his eyes. Being able to catch his attention and stay loyal no matter what happens is incredibly hard with a person with Ushijima. But I believe you both you would be determined to keep the relationship strong. You’ve got a very strong guy on your side, and he won’t be letting you go anytime soon. Congrats~!
