Flag proposals for Pleven, Ruse and Kardzhali
from /r/vexillology Top comment: My heraldic/vexillological overhaul of Bulgaria's regional capital still has my full attention. I wanted to share some flag designs I made for three Bulgarian cities, whos flags are either their arms, plopped on a white field or they don't have flags at all. From left to right: * Pleven - the city where one of the most bloody battles for the Liberation of Bulgaria was held; * Ruse - the Danube city, once called "The small Vienna". The first city in Bulgaria (and the Ottoman Empire) with a train station; * Kardzhali - the Arda city, that emerged from the ruins of Vishegrad fortress, destroyed in the 14th century.
