Every time I drew Kareus’ hair down I wasn’t satisfied with it since I picture it a very specific wavy hair type, so I spent some time getting to know his hairstyle! And honestly, who gave him the right to be so goddamn pretty.

It was me, I know, but still!

Our party recently went on a boat adventure, so I figured it was a good idea to make sure Kareus was dressed for the occasion >:3

I have playlists for pretty much everything you can think of involving my campaign, from group playlists to relationship playlists, and one of those is the playlist for Vae and Kareus!  I wanted to make a cover for it, and so I drew them dancing together. You wouldn’t believe the amount of stupid symbolism I packed into this piece lmao

Something that I’ve been wanting to do for a hot second is draw what each of the Vox looks like using their magic. 5/6 members of the party have some form of magic, and all our players are so descriptive and have such cool ways of describing the spells or modifying them to fit the character better, and I really hope to capture it in my art! 

I thought I’d might as well start with my boy. Kareus always moves a lot when he casts, my DM compared it to how a waterbender would move in the ATLA universe. And he’s... usually serious and calm. His magic flows through his whole body, coming from the earth and flowing out of his focus or hands. One of our other players, Alex, got me addicted to just writing out spell descriptions and so now I have an entire section in my notes dedicated to it, whoops.

Just a small Kareus doodle I did after coming home from vacation, just to remind myself I could, in fact, still draw. I love him a lot, I don’t draw him just happy nearly enough.

Kareus’ birthday came up in session, and Vae’s gift to him was singing an elvish lullaby since she’s been teaching him elvish for a while. I’ll admit it, he and I both cried, and I couldn’t resist drawing it. Their friendship means so much to me!  Song used is One More Moment (Ursa’s lullaby) from Reinaiery

So Alex, Vae’s player, had the brilliant idea to make a Pinterest board of all of our character’s party looks, and I’m pretty sure every artist in our party went feral. So, here’s our party- The Vox Anima- being absolutely sexy and probably ruining a hapless NPC’s life at a social function. From left to right, Mogan is played by @ @superavengelock , Kareus is played by me, Leif is played by @str4wberrycheesecake , Vae is played by @demonic-wookie , Snow is played by  @/alexandra_jaden on twitter, Jerome is played by @strangelady1331  and our wonderful DM is @xaandiir !!
