Hey guys!

Sorry I went totally AWOL. Since I went to a con over Labor Day weekend, I’ve been super motivated to work on my Sardonyx cosplay. Maybe I’ll post some progress shots soon. I’m super excited about it, and I’m probably about halfway done with the actual sewing! (That of course doesn’t include wig styling, making glasses, finishing the extra arms, or building a giant hammer.... but still!)

I still have tons of fanart I want to work on, but I’ll probably put that off until I get bored of working on cosplay. In my experience (with myself), it’s best to get as much done as I can while I’m still feeling it. Otherwise I procrastinate like cray.

I had a great con this weekend!!

Bought a lot of beautiful prints and stickers and stuff from artists, among them @mrquackersartistry, @littlegigi9, @cube-u, and @spudenski ! Go check them out! They're all wonderful! ^__^

But my favorite part of the con had to be on the last day: a Q&A panel with Steven and the Crystal Gems! It was a fun, great panel full of AMAZING SU cosplayers. They not only looked great, they also stayed in-character and were very entertaining. Props to them!

And the BIGGEST NEWS THAT I'M SO EXCITED ABOUT is, I talked to Rose Quartz after the panel. She said they'd be doing the panel again next summer at the con I always go to. I told her I'd be cosplaying Sardonyx, asked her if I might be able to be a part of it, and she said YES!!!!

SO I MIGHT BE DOING A Q&A PANEL. AS MAYBE MY FAVORITE CHARACTER EVER.

I'm so excited I could just shatter!!!

...better get to work on my costume. O_o;;
