The Manager whipped her head around, glaring back at the Reaper upon hearing that declaration. “What is it that you’ve broken?” Annoyance had already laced itself into her tone even without any further detail. Most everything within the Casino could be replaced with the mere snap of her fingers, but having to do so because of someone else’s error was frustrating.

Milady took notice of how he tightened his grip on his guns. Considering his duties, she could only imagine that a single shot from them would result in instant death. Oh -- but the thrill of performing a Russian Roulette with Death was alluding to the noblewoman. It brought back wonderous memories of when she played possum before slaughtering a grand number of professionally trained Musketeers with their own blades and guns.
She could only chuckle as he scowled at her.
“My inquiry was innocent darling. No need to have your chains in a knot.” she teased. “I can’t seem to fathom what Death does when he isn’t reaping souls.”
Milady chuckled softly, tapping the edge of her feathered fan against her lips. “Does hearing a question about your personal life bother you?~”

:Big thanks to you folks. Full disclosure: My motivation for RPing was bad lately, and I was getting really, really anxious about returning after being away for a while. That’s kinda evaporated now!
