1st. This edition in the beginning is interesting because it is clear what is the documental about through using collages.
2nd. The closeup shots and shadows help to give a sense of intimacy between the people and the audience.
3rd I like how they use this shots as embossed images that give dramatism to the shot, given the theme that this documental is about.
4th I could see the long shots for some moments, it gave a touch of verité to the documental and help to make the audience feel that all the testimonies of life are real.

It's interesting, because at the beginning you feel that the story is about Ushio and his passion and obsessions with his art. However the story is about a woman who wants to reconnect with her art. And it is also about how she support her husband. Is a documental approach of a real relationship of love but not perfect, it could also have regrets. It is touch and real. I am impressed of how the director could document and achieve an intimate material.
I liked how in every frame the focus reveals a sensation or emotion of Naomi as a heroin in her story.
1st is a wide shot where it shows the character in relation with the environment. In this case, it can be deducted that is a Latin-American city in the 70's or 80's.
2nd High angle, where it show how close is the relationship between the leading character with her boss children.
3rd wide shot providing a perspective of the feelings of the character. In this case it shows sadness, loneliness because she is on the far right with the same hierarchy as the baby things, so the audience can understand how hard is the situation for her, after her loss.
4th Is a wide shot providing a perspective of those characters watching the leading role situation. It give a sense of urgency.
