Last Chance to Lose Control || Karline & Adrian
The skies were darkening even more so, which only meant one thing: He should be inside, in chains, and secured away from the public. It was times like these that he really did miss his beloved maker. She would always make jokes and tease him about the chains that would be wrapped around him. But this time, like the few months before, would be spent alone in a basement, chained to the wall.
All these thoughts and more plagued him as he made his way towards his home. Walking inside he was met with complete silence, the silence only be interrupted by his rather large sigh. There was no routine he went through to prepare himself for the pain he would endure, he just went down to his basement, locked the door and looked towards the furthest wall, seeing the chains dangling from it.
Not wasting any more time, he walked up to the silver chains, lettings his fingers ghost over it, just barely touching, and feeling the searing pain that shot up. It always amazed him how this metal, this insignificant metal, could destroy someone like him. It would be amusing if it weren't for the fact that it hurt like no other. With another deep sigh, he quickly took a hold of one of the ends and secured it on his wrist, hissing as the silver touched the skin of his arm. Letting out a deep breath, he attached himself to the end, cursing at himself for not thinking all of this the way through. There was no real way for him to completely attach his other wrist to the silver chain, he needed another pair of hands.
With no real time to go ask someone, he did what he thought was the best choice. He slammed his wrist into the wall, hearing a click as the bracelet was secured. Looking at the wall, he noticed the dent in it and grumbled to himself, trying extremely hard not to focus on the pain. And though looking at the dent did help, what didn't help was the smell of burning flesh. Adrian stopped breathing completely and tried to detach himself from his body.
It worked for what felt like hours, he wasn't sure of the time, but then out of nowhere, he felt drawn to go outside. Adrian didn't feel like he had control over his body, he just knew that he had to go outside. Out of their own accord, his hands balled up into fists and even though the burning sensation all went to where his veins were, he shifted and pulled at his restraints. This continued, with Adrian grunting from the pain, hissing and groaning, but still pulling, hearing as the chains clinked together. Even the walls groaned, or was that his imagination? He turned to look at his restraints and was startled to see them only hanging on by a screw. His thoughts screamed "No no no, this can't be happening." But something else in his mind shut those thoughts up and instead of voicing his concerns, his lips curled up into a smirk. With one last, strong pull, the chains broke off from the wall, some of the wall falling along with it. Adrian moved quickly to the other side and used the pair of keys there to take the silver bracelets off of himself completely.
Once he was free, he zoomed through his house and opened up the door, taking a step outside. Looking up at the full moon, his smirk grew wider. Adrian was no longer himself, not with looking up at the moon, it was as if a monster had taken over him completely. A monster that only wanted one thing: Blood.
Not sure of where to head to first, he decided to go out towards the sea. The monster in his head urged him to run to the ocean at the speed only he could achieve, so Adrian obliged. He raced against the wind until he was standing in sand only minutes later. His eyes scanned over the beach, his eyesight having no difficulty with the darkness. There was no one in sight, which only made the monster in his head snap his fingers in frustration. Just as he was about to turn around and head into town, from the corner of his eye he caught a shadow walking up towards the ocean. "Success," he muttered to himself in a tone he wouldn't have been able to recognize as his own if he were himself.
Opening his mouth just slightly, his fangs came down to their full length, brushing over his bottom lip. He ran towards the figure, catching it around the waist. "A little dangerous for a pretty girl to be wondering around, especially on a night like this, don't you think?" He asked the clearly female figure, his grip tightening over her ever so slightly before letting her go and turning her around so she would face him. "How about I escort you to your home?" He asked her, grinning, making his fangs go on full display.
