Dating Karma Akabane while having a possessive little brother would include.

Your little brother absolutely hates the idea of sharing you with anyone. You’re his big sister, and no one else is allowed to hold your hand, sit too close, or get too much of your attention.

The first time Karma comes over, your brother immediately clings to your leg like a koala and glares at him. Karma just smirks, crouches down, and says,

“So this is the competition, huh? Adorable… but I’m not backing down.”

Your brother challenges Karma to everything—rock paper scissors, video games, even who gets to sit next to you at dinner. Karma plays along with an infuriatingly smug grin, always teasing when he wins.

“Sorry, short stuff. Looks like your sister likes sitting with winners.”

Karma is ridiculously good at provoking your brother, but not in a mean way—it’s more like he enjoys seeing the kid puff his cheeks and stomp his little feet.

When your brother demands a hug, Karma will swoop in and hug you first, just to watch him screech. Then he’ll ruffle your brother’s hair and whisper, “Don’t worry, I’ll share… maybe.”

Surprisingly, Karma doesn’t mind when your brother wedges himself between the two of you during movie nights. He’ll throw an arm over both of you, smirking like he’s already won just by being there.

Sometimes, your brother tattles:

“Big sis! He’s trying to kiss you!”

Karma just grins, leans closer, and says, “Only because I like her. Want me to teach you how to kiss someone you like, too?” which makes your brother turn red and screech.

Your brother tries to pull you away by the hand sometimes, but Karma is stronger, so it ends up being a tug-of-war with you stuck in the middle. Karma always winks at you when your brother pouts, because he finds it all hilarious.

The two of them end up bickering like siblings. You sometimes wonder if you’re dating a mischievous boyfriend or just raising two children.

But in his own way, Karma respects your brother’s protectiveness. He never gets too harsh or too scary with him. If anything, he treats him like an annoying but amusing sidekick.

Secretly, Karma loves seeing how much you mean to your brother. It makes him realize just how lucky he is to have you in his life.

Overall dating Karma while having a possessive little brother is absolute chaos. Karma loves messing with the kid, your brother is always on guard, and you’re stuck in the middle of their playful rivalry. Knight!Karma Akabane is feared throughout the kingdom because of the way he handles enemies. He never does so with brute force alone, but with calculated cruelty.

It's unnerving the way he moves on the battlefield - his enemies never know if he's about to kill them or play with them first.

Knight!Karma Akabane would tease you constantly, especially in private.

But the moment someone disrespects you, even subtly like a backhanded compliment, he's suddenly dead serious. His blade would be drawn without hesitation.

He lives to push boundaries... except when it comes to your safety. That's his line in the sand. He will never deliberately put you in danger.

Knight!Karma Akabane pretends not to care about court politics but will have dirt on every noble in the room. If anyone tries to manipulate you, he's already ten steps ahead, even if you don't need it.

He hates authority unless it's yours (and even then, he'll sass you until you're red in the face, before obeying with a cheeky grin on his face).

Knight! Karma Akabane will never admit that he worries about your safety when you're out of his sight... but he'll always slip a blade into your shoe or remind you where the escape passages are.

Only you will ever see the quiet protectiveness he shows (like when he watches you sleep with a hand on his weapon at all times, knowing how many people would kill for your crown).

After a battle, the first that Knight!Karma Akabane does is find you, blood-streaked and tired, and check you over.

"You better not be hurt, or I'll kill whoever managed it. Even if it was you."

Knight!Karma Akabane has a jealous and possessive side of him, though he hides it under sarcasm.

If a suitor gets too close, Karma will suddenly be at yourside, arm draped casually across his sword hilt.

"Didn't know rats were allowed near royalty now."

He intimidates every potential suitor who flirts with you - even if you scold him for it later.

Knight!Karma Akabane would never betray your secrets, even under torture. If you confide in him, whether it be about your fears, or your burdens, he will guard that knowledge more fiercely than the castle gates.

Knight!Karma Akabane doesn't hesitate to put himself in danger for you. He would shrug off stab wounds with a grin if it meant you were unharmed.

"You're bleeding!" you say while giving him a once-over. "Yeah, but you're not, so... win-win."

Knight!Karma Akabane always has contingency plans in case of assassination attempts, poisonings, kidnappings - you name it. And they always work.

Knight!Karma Akabane will never say the words "I love you" first, but you feel in the way he always puts himself between you and the arrow.

You were never just his job. You were his life.

And if you shared a few kisses here and there? Well, that was nobody's business but your own.

karma general dating headcanons!

— first of all.. he definitely teases you. way more than anyone else. like, if him teasing the class was a 10 on the scale, you'd be a 26.

— he likes to poke you. there's no specific reason, you're just so.. pokeable. he likes to see your skin smush beneath his finger as you face slowly gets more annoyed. he will stop eventually, if you ask him to.

— he likes to buy you things. he will get you gifts that you've only mentioned once before, as a general thought. it's honestly baffling how closely he listens to what you say.

— he learns as much as possible about your tastes. you like a certain music artist? he's memorized the discography in one day. if he sees you browsing a site on how to make a certain dish? he learns how to cook it on the way to the grocery store to get the ingredients.

— he gives you massages. he notices how tense you may get, and wants to relieve this pressure. but, if you make any noise at all, he'll tease the shit out of you. be prepared.

— he does your schoolwork for you. if you forgot to do an assignment right before class, he'll write down the answers as fast as he possibly can. although korosensei probably wouldn't get too angry, you'd rather not deal with the speech.

— he loves to kiss you. a lot. he will completely engulf your face with his lips, all leading up to a final kiss on the lips and a tap on your nose. he constantly amuses you with this predictable pattern. -- one time, you decided to dodge the final kiss, and he acted so offended. he got back at you, though. you didn't escape him that time.

— he's a very light sleeper. if you move at all, he's waking up. just getting up to get a glass of water will make him jerk awake like the earth is destroying itself underneath his feet. you apologize every time, but no amount of sleeping aids helps.

— he initiates a lot of pillow fights. you say something with a little too much of a teasing smile, and he'll get you back by smothering you with a fluffy pillow. you laugh from underneath, but he'll only grab more to destroy you (with love) until you surrender.

— he makes fun of the characters in movies. you watch a horror movie, and he'll be yelling at the screen for the character not to go back to the door, how stupid they're being, and how he'd totally be able to survive whatever the phenomenon is.

— he's the least clumsy person you'll ever meet. he could probably carry ten gallons of water in paint buckets all stacked over each other on his head for 3 miles, and there would be absolutely no drop spilled.

— he likes to take you on fun dates. you'll both find an old park with a tire swing, and you'll hang out there every day eating oranges while hanging upside down on the monkey bars.

— he's a drama queen. he'll fall backwards theatrically with the back of his hand on his forehead and gracefully land on the grass. all of this because you refused to skip class with him.

— he's extremely protective. i don't think i need to mention this, but if he hears that anyone even laid a finger on you, he'll go pay them a friendly visit. they won't be coming to school for at least a week.

— he steals blankets. although it's mostly when he sleeps, he does it when he's awake, too. you're freezing your ass off? not his problem. (part of him wants you to cuddle up to him and beg him to wrap his arm around you.)

As for one more headcanon to start the day: he would absolutely pose as the perfect poster child when he first meets your parents. Occasionally after that, the facade falls from time to time but he tries to just pretend nothing had ever happened.

“Oh? Why I ended up in class 3E when I was in junior high?” He pauses for a moment before pulling the most outrageously pitiful look you’ve ever seen, “I… stood by justice against a bully. Giving him exactly what he deser- I mean, standing up for my upperclassman that had did no wrong”

Karma Headcanons:

he likes cowgirl, specifically reverse late at night while he records you without you knowing.

likes feet not in a weird way, he massages them after a day of hard work but only if they're clean.

he's a brat, literally. probably owns some fancy bmw and flexes it on you. and certainly won't let you drive it.

gets high often, but if you ever wanted/needed him to he'd cut down.

loves high sex though.

will take you shopping and help you get things. like you'll try on clothes and he'll have a blast helping you choose the best ones.

his gf has to either be just like him, total bitch who talks back and is contantly feining a fight.. : or, a little innocent girl who's short and a virgin and knows nothing because of her guarded childhood. take your route mama ;).

oh and he calls his girlfriend "babe" or "girlfriend", anything super boring, generic, or unloving.

but married him is full of "precious" "dear" "honey" "sweetheart". you'll NEVER catch him calling you your actual name, not even talking to other people. people could say "what's your wife's name?" and he'll accidentally say "sugar" or something.

there's no secrets. he's mad at you, he'll tell you straight up. if he does something wrong, he tells you.

he's horrible with kids. have a girl baby with that man and she's spoiled fucking rotten because he knows how to treat women. but he knows no account to discipline.

boy baby, he'd probably end up teaching that kid how to "play baseball" but actually be teaching him how to deal with a kid on the field when they "don't know the game".

Ough okay here we go. It got long so I’m putting it under a read more

For a lot of my stuff, I use this doc as a guide. Really useful

Anyways first of all, I have to talk about what I headcanon each main karma symbol means for any of this to actually make sense

Karma 1: this one is pretty easy. Harm, violence, obsession, death etc

Karma 2: lust, yes, but also desire, passion, etc

Karma 3: companionship, friendship,family, sharing, uhh community, all those

Karma 4: gluttony of course, fullness, having many, satisfaction maybe

Karma 5: life, survival, existing, other such things

Karma 6-9: I read one headcanon somewhere that said these contained all five other karmas and you were crossing them all out one by one to reach ascension. So I’m stealing that for this

Karma 10: ascension, enlightenment, all that stuff

NOW THAT WE GOT THAT OUT OF THE WAY-

Onto my weird headcanons. You see, I headcanon that those ten up there are all just “base karmas.” They are the center karma that you see in game in the circle. These ones are your center. The karmas that describe your center of being, like how Artificer’s karma is locked at 1 because of her violence obsession. THEN you’d have your attribute and aspect karmas surrounding your base. Aspect karmas are more specific and detailed, and describe more of what you do and how you react than your base instincts and desires and such

For example: dragon slayer, the friend, the scholar, etc

Combinations of certain karmas make new glyphs with new meanings. I’ve designed a couple before, like Seer’s symbol and the karma glyph for grief:

I combined several glyphs for this one, mainly karma 1 and 5.

You can also see this combination thing in canon glyphs as well. The Hunter, or the glyph overseers use to warn you of predators, is a combination of karma 1 and karma 4.

When I make a karma glyph combination, the way it’s drawn and its rotation matters a lot. If the glyph is upside down, that usually indicates the opposite of that glyph, or a corruption of it. For example, upside down grief karma may be interpreted as a corruption of grief. Using it as a tool or an excuse for deliberate selfishness or wrong doing. Another simpler example would be upside down karma 3, which could mean being alone or being antisocial.

Sideways facing glyphs usually mean they’re partially unfulfilled, or that they haven’t reached the ending of that glyph’s purpose

Broken up glyphs mean an absence of or a need for that glyph. It can also mean something happened in the person’s life that messed up that glyph

If a glyph is on the top of the base karma, then it’s more dominant, while if it’s on on the bottom it’s more recessive but it’s more of the foundation. Karma glyphs on the side are add-ons

Base karmas are always 1-10

Being in a relationship with a guy like Karma definitely requires a lot of patience. As someone who's always messing around yet analytical enough to not get caught for it, Karma can quickly get on his partner's nerves.

Which is why someone who is kind and understanding is exactly what he needs in his life.

He can come off as standoffish and rude at first, but after a while your lack of response to his subtle nudges (both verbal and physical) your way started to intrigue him.

It wasn't like you were the kind of person who didn't have a backbone and chose to keep their head down, in fact, it was the opposite.

You weren't crazy smart or strong, but enough to be able to at least fight back if you chose to. It was just that you didn't see the point in fighting his fire with fire.

Instead, you would give him that stupid small smile of yours or occasionally quip back with a reply that made it seem like the two of you were having a conversation rather than Karma just being a nuisance.

Over time, he began to increase the lengths he went to in order to get a reaction out of you, finding comfort in the way you seemed to keep up with him without actually fighting back.

It was only when you snapped at him for the first time that Karma realised he liked you.

That was the first time he had chosen to drag others into your little game of sorts, but you didn't seem to take too kindly to having your friends play victim to Karma's little pranks.

He never actually hurt you or anyone, yet his actions were malevolent enough to earn a slap on the back of his head with your textbook.

Who would have thought such a small action would earn the affection of Kunugigaoka Junior High School's very own red devil.

Once the two of you start dating, you're one of the few people who can reign Karma in. It's not like you control him or anything, but when he needs it, you do help him see lines that shouldn't be crossed.

You worry about him because of his sadistic tendencies, but that doesn't stop you from helping Karma plan out some of his plans.

You aren't part of their class so don't know about Koro-sensei but he still appreciates your advice.

Karma enjoys leading you up the hill to more secluded places where the two of you can just sit under a tree and talk or chill around. This often ends with him flustering you in some way or another before he drops you home.

He can be very hard to keep up with, but Karma also has those calm moments where he just wants to be around you.

After the events that occur at the end of the second season, Karma went to your place rather than going home because he felt a need to be around you.

You obviously didn't understand why Karma was suddenly so insistent on spending the night hugging you or why you could almost certainly feel a tear or two drip onto your skin, but you didn't complain.

That's what Karma liked about you: you always understood him, you knew when to just let his behaviour slide and when to actually intervene.

In the storm that is Karma Akabane's life, he often found that you were what grounded him.
