I always think to myself, imagine if I was — and I don't like this term — crazy. Thinking back to failed relationships and fallouts, and how people have handled them, I'm no stranger to being projected onto. I know why people do it, to save face. But still, I've never understood.
You loved that person once, are your hatred and infallibility so potent that you feel the need to absolutely decimate someone's character? What pisses me off is I've had people crawl back into my messages years later offering to make amends as if they didn't go around spreading misinformation to cover their ass. And in these messages, never once an explanation as to why they felt the need to treat anyone like that. As if any of their stalking, bullying, and other forms of harassment didn't result in traumatic scars & trust issues. I've said this phrase before, but the sometimes the cruelty is the point.
I've watched former friends break up with their partners then begin to spread egregious things about them that weren't true. As much as I wasn't a fan of these significant others, even I knew that the things being spread weren't grounded in reality. I know I wasn't a part of these relationships, but there are times you know people well enough and trust your discernment. I'm not here to defend shitty partners, but how I've seen people behave in adulthood + my own horrible teenage experiences, they are enough to make me never jump to *reactionary* mode when someone gets accused of something. I believe victims. Some people also lie, it's a tiny number, but it still happens. I hate that it makes it harder for victims. Nuance.
People often times throw around the term "crazy" to justify the horrible ways they've treated people, or to deflect taking any form of accountability. I used to take it so personally, but now I know that a lot of so-called crazy people have been scapegoated and ostracized. I judge people by the content of their character, and how they act in their interpersonal relationships. I'm wary of people who are intent on labeling and writing others off as crazy. Usually, I've found they're paranoid of being found out. They'll send flying monkeys or find little ways to check up on you, thinking they've got the last laugh.
If you're that type of person, one day, you just might run into an actual crazy person. Someone who's obsessive, dangerous, and/or violent. It's a boy who cried wolf situation. And when that time comes, and you spread fabrications, and that person *pew pews* up your momma's house... I, will laugh. I'll see in on the news and I'll sit back, and laugh. I don't care if this isn't politically correct. I don't care if bad things happen to bad people, because to treat someone so viciously, and in such calculated ways, that's a deliberate choice. Especially when you're years out from being a child. You should know better. I don't we should police victims on how to feel about their perpetrators or how they view justice. And after my well-vindicated chuckle, I will move on with my day. Because I get to do that.
I'm nobody's karma. I don't need revenge or to get back at anyone. Shitty people are their own undoing, and I do believe, that ultimately, people live out the lives they deserve. Empty, loveless, alone.
Suffering. Suffering on your whole family! Suffering on you! Suffering on your cow!!!!! And may all the lovely, relationally responsible, kind, and compassionate people rest peacefully at night xx ( ˘͈ ᵕ ˘͈ ♥︎)

I know some misguided parts of these people behave in the ways I've described because it's the only way for them to feel close to the people they were once close with. Or to reclaim their power in some really twisted way. There's a fine line between love and hatred.
Also conflict is not abuse!
