Trauma survivors, SA survivors, bullying survivors, homophobia survivors, transphobia survivors, xenophobia survivors, DV survivors....

Do not need to forgive their abusers.

They are under no moral, ethical, religious, or spiritual obligation to forgive those that traumatized them.

Do not say "Forgiveness is for oneself, not for the abuser" as an excuse to make victims believe it's some type of therapy.

Victims do not owe their abusers anything. If someone owes, it's the abusers.

"You should forgive them and move on." Forgiveness is a personal choice and not a requirement for healing. For some survivors, it may come in time, but for others, it may never feel right—and that’s okay. Telling someone to forgive their abuser minimizes the pain they’ve endured and implies that healing can only happen if they let go. Instead, focus on supporting their journey, whatever that looks like for them.

I finally finished this ! I botched it while cutting it out but i plan to make more anyway so when i do that those will be on my etsy, it has statistics and information about stalking in the US along with resources for victims

January is stalking awareness month so be sure to show some extra support and care to your loved ones who have been affected by stalking

Wanted to make a Master post on the information of the victims, where to support them, and where to donate blood.

Boris and Sofia Gurman - Russian Jews. The first people who attempted to disarm one of the shooters. They died protecting people.

Reuven Morrison - a 60 year old Jewish man who hurled a brick at one of the shooters to distract him. He was shot and killed.

Edith Brutman - vice president of an anti-prejudice and anti-discrimination committee at B’nai B’rith NSW.

Marika Pogany - an 82 year old Jewish volunteer who assisted Jewish seniors.

10 year old Matilda. A Jewish girl who was shot and killed while playing at the petting zoo.

Dan Elkayam - a French Jew living in Australia who loved soccer.

Rabbi Eli Schlanger - father of five, who promoted dancing with joy to combat antisemitism.

Rabbi Yaakov Levitan - shot while handing out tefillin.

Peter Meagher - retired police officer who was taking photos at the events. Photography was his retirement passion.

Alex Kleytman - a Holocaust survivor who died protecting his wife.

Tibor Weitzen - a Russian Jew known as the "lolli man". He would give confectionery to the children of his shul. Tibor shielded children with his body. Genuinely a really good man.

An unidentified 40-year-old man was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital on Sunday but died at the hospital.

DNI if you support abusers

I don’t understand how people can support abusers. Like genuinely. No.

Abusers can be anyone, friends, family, significant others.

And abuse can come in many forms, sexual, physical, mental, verbal.

Manipulation counts as abuse.

As someone who was in an abusive friendship and toxic relationships (S@) I can’t understand support abusers

Maybe it’s just because I’ve gone through it myself.

I do not support Wilbur Soot’s actions. I do not support Melanie Martinez. I do think their media production was good however I cannot support someone who has caused pain to someone they are supposed to love.

If you support them that’s okay, I’ll look past that just don’t fucking defend them to me bc guess what. I don’t care.

I don’t care what excuse you make up for them, I don’t want to hear it.

My Nana escaped multiple abusive relationships with men. Nobody believed her. They called her a slut or a whore for getting pregnant at fifteen with my uncle yet they didn’t question that the father was 24. Yes 24. She survived abuse after abuse and every time they told her she was looking for attention and defended the abusers for context in total she was abused 4 times. 4 TIMES. And no one thought to help her until my poppy. So yes I will never defend an abuser and I can’t support abusers.

I don’t care if it’s not proven. I don’t trust it.

I cannot support abuse in anyway
