Ok here we go!
1 - Lore drops:
Kallisto is second to Karma in every way - physique, smarts, and good looks; but he isn't jealous. He couldn't care less about what the vampiric society cares about him, as long as they don't get in his way. His lack of social norms is similar to Karma along with his brothers, each having their own flavor of indifference (lol).
If it wasn't for Karma's third brother being the black sheep of the entire family, Kallisto would've been outcasted as a deranged, maniacal idiot. But at least it's "better" to have an insane brother than a paraplegic one in the family's eyes.
Even though Kallisto acts insane or unpredictable, he knows rules and etiquette. I'd say he's more street smart than academic smart, knowing how to get out of things when it's needed. He can be "tamed" or "manageable", but only by certain people e.g. T'Abuelo, his parents, Karma and currently ███████. Kallisto only bullies and teases those who are weaker, while groaning and grumbling at those who are physically stronger than him. However, the only exception to this rule is ███████.
When Karma left, Kallisto was next to take his place. But Kallisto does not like word lingo, mental games, nor politics. He just wants to get straight to the killing, the beating. He does not pursue his target long-term unless ordered, and does not like torture because he sees it as pointless.
But when he saw you, I'm sure he most definitely changed his mind.
2 - Headcanons & Silly Tidbids:
Since Kallisto is not really showcased on the blog as much, I decided to double the headcanons. Enjoy!
Fact 1: Kallisto is the second shortest out of his brothers. The shortest is the youngest brother, █████.
Fact 2: Kallisto doesn't like alcohol. It does not give him the adrenaline he needs for fights, and it tires him out. Medications can't placate his jitteriness either.
Fact 3: Kallisto hates funerals and flowers. Strongly. It really pisses him off since he cannot move around. He has sit still for hours at a time listening to boring speeches, which he considers the worst. He also doesn't see the point in "worshipping a dead body" as he calls it. That's probably his trauma speaking though.
As for flowers, he just doesn't like 'em. It's too soft, too precious. He'd rather stomp on it than give to someone. But that's not really true, since he's given it to his crush, Aristotle.
Otherwise he avoids anything flowery, since they make him anxious and paranoid. You can thank ███████ for that.
Fact 4: Kallisto was part of a motorcycle gang! It was his way of sticking close to friends and flirting with Aristotle, since her bucket list was to ride a motorcycle someday.
Karma also used to be a part of that same motorcycle gang, but left since he was next in line for the Sangre throne. So Kallisto became the leader and managed it on his own terms.
Fact 5: Kallisto likes comics, toys and illustrations. He understands them a lot more than words and literature.
If someone shares his interest, he won't get overly excited or yap a million miles a second. Rather, he hyper focuses on listening, and taking in every word. He won't interrupt like he normally would, or ask you to speed up. He'll remain completely silent, and politely share his own thoughts (which is very rare).
Fact 6: Out of all his siblings, Kallisto has the lowest body count. This is in terms of sex! Kallisto doesn't like sharing his dick with anyone and everyone, he loves himself too much. So when he has his urges, he meets up with Aristotle and the problem solves itself.
But trust me, he has a bigger problem between him and Aristotle than he thought (#karma sub-plot)
Fact 7: Kallisto cannot dance. Do not ask him to dance. He is genuinely terrible at it.
Fact 8: Kallisto used to do a lot of odd jobs. He just likes constantly changing jobs and getting different experiences. It's another way of keeping his mind occupied.
Fact 9: Kallisto is terrified of a drug overdose. Originally Kallisto used to do drugs, but after seeing a friend die from drug overdose in real time, he freezes and thinks about his friend's death over and over again.
Fact 10: Kallisto snores loudly in bed. His siblings cannot stand it, except ███████ and Karma. Some of them think he got it from his father Emiliano, but his father isn't that loud. I'd say out of his immediate family he is #1 worst snorer lol!
Fact 11: Kallisto is fascinated by sun dials. The Sangre household still has it, and he finds it really cool how the shadows indicate time. So when he needs a breather or a comfort space he normally goes to the garden and sits by the sun dial.
Fact 12: Kallisto's favorite dessert is carrot cake. One of his many weaknesses.
Fact 13: Kallisto absolutely despises faefolk. This includes all of his siblings, even Karma. But the difference is, is that Karma and his brothers can control their disgust if it's necessary. Kallisto CANNOT. He will throw anything and everything in his direction to the faes, and literally spit in their face. Even though he knows he's putting himself in danger and probably cursing him and his family for generations to come - he...does not give a fuck. He would rather die than let a fae leave the premises scot-free.
If he had to choose hating you over faefolk, he'd choose faefolk. THAT is how much he hates them!
(This is also another reason why he wasn't suitable to take Karma's place.)
Fact 14: Kallisto does not take care of his hair properly. He'll wash it (if it is really bad), but he doesn't comb it or do anything with it. He just...lets it be.
Fact 15: When life gives him lemons...he eats the lemon. As is. He will not cut it like a normal person. But fucking....bite into it. This applies to anything particularly sour. To this day all of his siblings still stare and say "You....you still eat like that?"
Fact 16: Kallisto enjoys....static? He also finds it strange. It's a new discovery for him, but he finds it weird that it's comforting to him. It might also explain why he doesn't like music so much.
Fact 17: Kallisto was born with a brain tumor. His parents and grandparent tried to keep it under wraps, but it became prevalent as he got older. Karma as his big brother, came to swoop in and help him wherever and whenever possible.
Just as 7 year old Kallisto was about to go into surgery, Karma gazed into his brother's eyes, before bursting into tears. Because at that point, he didn't know whether Kallisto was going to live or die.
Fact 18: Ballet shows makes him emotional. Movies or films can't make him emotional, but ballet shows do. He knows why.
Fact 19: Kallisto's favorite meal is Sriracha fries. Cheese makes him shit but he considers it a necessary sacrifice.
Fact 20: Kallisto likes yawning and seeing other people yawn. He finds it super cute for some reason.
Fact 21: Kallisto likes his brothers, more than he admits. I mean, it's not much, but he knows that they all stick around for a reason, even when they're apart. So it makes sense that Karma should come back.
No...
He will come back.
ALL of his brothers will make sure of it.
