✗ 001. SALEM & KARMICHAEL

To say that Salem was anxious was an understatement. She’d hookup up with plenty of guys, girls too, over the years, but it was always different when it was with somebody she knew, and Karmichael was her best friend. The agreement the two had made was a risky one, and as excited as she was, she was also nervous. What if they weren’t able to stay friends afterwards? What if it was bad? Or everything between them changed? Or worse -- feelings got involved? She shook these thoughts as she climbed over the boy, careless in her motions as she reached for a stuffed animal she’d noticed on the floor near his bed, trying her best to grab it without getting off of the mattress, even if that meant squashing Kash in the process. 

“Ah-ha!” She chimed, as she successfully grabbed the plush toy, a grin on her face as she sat up, bringing the stuffed animal to her chest. “I can’t believe you still have it.” It was something the two of them had one at a festival years earlier, and she’d had every intention of taking it home. But, Salem was never very good at remembering things. “I haven’t seen it in forever!” She beamed, fluffing the plush elephant in her hands, before turning her attention to the mop haired boy, just then realizing that she was sitting in his lap, swallowing hard with wonder. She’d never cared about being close to him before - but there was a clear interest now. ( @bullsinthebronson​ )
