A midday nap in Karnaca

I love wandering through Dishonored 2 and sketching the views that catch my eye. This time, my attention was drawn to this little sofa in the passage above a Wall of Light. I love how, no matter what dump or abandoned building you crawl into, those iconic striped sofas are everywhere.

According to legend, by the time the ship returned, the Captain was dead and the witch controlled the crew, with Daud still a shadow in her belly.

Happy @dishonoredgiftexchange to @topaztimes! I'm always so drawn to that line about Daud's mother, and it was a joy to finally have a reason to illustrate her. Her clothes are a mix between the style sensibilities of Dishonored and traditional Syrian clothes worn by women in the 1800s. The ship I made up :P
