It's Karnevall season again. The second time during the pandemic, so no big partys. Still, my colleagues and I wanted to at least dress up a bit, especially with it being the first Karnevall for one of them and it is a pretty important tradition here. If you study abroad you do want to experience the local culture after all.
Means, we all sitting in the office, wearing our ffp2 masks and doing ~important science stuff~ while in costume. Two of them just had an disscussion about the next eperiment they whant to do, dressed as slightly sexy cop and mime, the other one is analysing his data while wearing a life guard costume. I wrote a important eMail to an diffrent department, wearing an eyepatch and a fancy pirate hat with feathers.
