John Hough, Twins of Evil, 1971
“May I have this dance tonight?”
Couldn’t stop thinking about General Spieldorf and how badly I wished I would have been the one waltzing with him during the party scene… so I had to draw him 🥹
Don't piss me off Karnstein Trilogy.
Imagine Carmilla doting on you even though she’s the guest. You receive frequent compliments on your appearance, kindness, cleverness, whatever she seems most impressed by at the moment. When you get strange marks on your chest, Carmilla insists on inspecting them.
You’re often late to dinner. It becomes common for her to urge you to get second helpings while she nurses a drink. Your girlfriend, on the other hand, has become a quick eater. You asked her why she leaves the dining room before you even arrive. A language barrier between her and Carmilla? That could probably just be chalked up to the latter’s accent.
“Hey, Carmilla?”
Your house guest lifts her gaze from your bare bos/om. Carmilla suggested you start sleeping top/less to counteract the marks. You decide to just sleep nak/ed. The sheets are drawn up to your waist.
“Why do you never eat around me?”
“Hm?”
“Why do I never see you eat?”
Her gaze drifts downward, past your chest this time. “Do you want to see me eat?”
“I-” Before you can formulate an answer, she’s staring intently into your own eyes.
The next thing you know she’s inspecting your thighs for marks. Or at least that’s why you figure she’s down there. Her gaze is so distracting. Even when you hear your name being called, you don’t want to withdraw your gaze from hers. You’re disappointed when she withdraws her tongue. But you obediently keep still.
Until Carmilla draws your attention to the other woman. Who seems upset, and wants to know how you could do this to her. Before you can gather a response, Carmilla’s biting your girlfriend. Ex now, you suppose. At least you know why your guest didn’t eat in front of you. Still, you wish Carmilla would pay attention to your neck like that.
Without puncturing the jugular, your tranced brain amended.
Live blogging of Twins of Evil, I’m literally at the end and I’m so upset
Maria literally has been my angel this entire film, the framing trope is literally my least favorite trope in any movie or show or book or anything. The fact that her evil sister is willing to take let Maria burn in her place makes me sick!!
I HOPE THEY SAVE MARIA OH MY GOF
Her worst crime? Being too nice
Imagine your boyfriend taking you to visit his extended family. You’re enjoying your stay... for the most part. It’s annoying that you two were given separate bedrooms.
Another guest, Carmilla, says you shouldn’t let assigned sleeping quarters get in the way of your love life. She offers her own room for your romantic trysts. Mesmerized, you and your boyfriend follow Carmilla.
Imagine Carmilla slinking into your room at night to steal you away to be her bride. You’re a little reluctant so she decides to suckle, without biting, you first. Then you’re begging for consummation.
