I’m really enjoying all of the MiSTer stuff on UPF lately! Is there much in the way of cores for Japanese PCs? 8801 or MSX or X68000?
MSX is in and works reasonably well, though decompressing and loading the images can be a little wonky. There’s an X68k core ported over from a Japanese developer, but it doesn’t seem to run very much and needs work. It hasn’t been touched in over a year. Hopefully someone will eventually step in and do some work on it, I’m endlessly fascinated by the X68000.
Apparently the same person who did the original X68k FPGA core also has an 8801 core, but it hasn’t been ported to the DE10-nano. Hopefully that eventually happens, too.
