my favorite kars is a kars who’s very very weird and strange but like. that’s Lord Kars u can’t say anything to him about it

i’ve dragged this url through two blogs now i felt like i ought to deliver

i should be asleep so i’ll probably get more into this in the morning but i do truly feel like kars and esidisi are equal in the hierarchy, at least in any way that rlly matters . yes kars is technically the leader, but the masks and the quest for the stone were his ideas. i’m certain he has the last word on everything, but it really does appear that esidisi is given just the same amount of respect imo. nothing works if either one of them is removed from the equation. so at least the way i see it, yes kars is In Charge but i doubt there’s ever been any battles about authority between the two of them, kars values esidisi’s opinions and leadership the same as he does his own etc. i think it’s partially due to them having raised wamuu + santana, too. idk it would’ve be nice to see more of them planning and going about things just to know how that goes we rlly don’t get much

tldr; kars is the de facto Leader for having created the masks, but he’s more than a little “don’t ask me ask your other dad esidisi” about it

people tend to write it the other way (which is fine!) but i like to imagine kars was the less strict one between himself + esidisi . i mean sure what he said abt santana is certainly Something but when it comes to wamuu he kind of just lets him do what he wants .. esidisi was the one to jump to scolding when kars stepped in wamuu’s shadow, kars said it was fine . the whole “i see why you do this” about the fight marrying thing. he lets wamuu carry out the chariot race how he wanted and all that as well . idk i’m Sure his obsession w the stone and their mission didn’t make him entirely lax but he comes off as less rigid than one would think
