29. What is your character’s weaknesses?
Mozelle can be terribly cautious and indecisive, too snared up in attempting to figure out the best option or waiting for the perfect moment. While she’s gotten somewhat better about just doing it in the last few years there’s still far more unnecessary caution that costs her opportunities because she waits too long considering the risk-reward ratio or trying to find the optimal approach.
On account of her exposure to the Void and acceptance of an Old God’s gifts she has a mild vulnerability to the Light; not so much as a being more fully and truly imbued with the Void, but present all the same. Light-based attacks hurt that much more, and even the more benevolent uses of the Light don’t go over particularly well — blessings not sticking, shields unraveling faster than they should, healing rendered painful and more akin to flesh being forcibly knit back in place and cauterized.
Then there’s the matter of Mozelle’s health in general. Repeated injuries, poor sleep, and pushing the body to its limits is absolutely rubbish for one’s health, and that’s before one even considers the substance abuse. While she’s sought magical healing to keep her worst injuries from completely decommissioning her, slowly but surely it’s all started catching up with her.
Mozelle is also, at the time of writing, still recovering from a Year of the Scourge event. Blight and several flavors of necrotic energy are quite fun.
