more than anything

more than anything, i care about my career, where it is and where i want it to go. the rest is the rest. i've become famous for saying this and it isn't just some cute shit to say until the next fascinating distraction presents itself,it's the realest shit. currently SMOKE AND MIRRORS is crawling into people's consciousness and the comments that people are leaving have been nothing short of awesome! i got my first bad recently comment and where it felt like being punched in the chest, i welcome it as part of the process. with episode 7 out and 8 scheduled for release next friday, it's a surprise to no one that i've been working my ass off. what you don't know is that in the time that SMOKE AND MIRRORS has been out, i've worked on two other series, short films, feature length films, and am preparing my return to stage both as a playwright and as an actress, all while continuing to freelance and keep the lights on where i live. so yeah, i've been busy lol. 

don't get it confused, i still make time for fun ( probably not as much as i should) but nothing is more important than my work! does that make it difficult to date? kinda but i figure that out too. i do walk in the gate telling people what it is so that there's no space for confusion. if you are looking for a wife in the next year, the kid aint got it for ya. SORRY! i've been in love before, i've never been rich! my pursuit is to be a successful artist and affect the world around me through my work. as previously stated, the rest is the rest. now if you are looking to kick it with a "rent to own option" we can talk.

KNOW WHEN TO HOLD AND WHEN TO FOLD

the truth about personal relationships is that we are meant to have them in order to insure that this life is easier. as my mother always says, "relationships are supposed to simplify your life, not complicate it". unfortunately, shit get's complicated sometimes and somebody has to be the one to say something. i mean, you could get lucky and God could remove said person from your life gently, but most of the time you have to "boss up" and make the decision to let said person go. this shit is difficult as the fuck!difficult yet necessary for where your life is going. the worse thing you can possibly do is stay in a sitaution that you got no business being in! that shit is stupid and i oughta know because i used to be the queen of that stupid shit. in the end, you have to do what's best for you even if ( and it will) SUCK!
