Feelin a lil autistic about my ocs so heres some lore about the two eldritch deity things, and also Azu's language cuz of course I've partially made one.
Kasaykos (kass-aye-kohs): more or less a literal translation of "vast eyed terror", since azu was the one to come up with a name for it immediately after his first horror protagonist experience with the thing.
Combination of kasu, meaning great/vast, aji, or eyed/eyes, and ykos which means terrifying
Kos'dwua (kaws-du-ah): essentially calling them sensitive and that they complain too much, though it's also a decent description of its appearance. Azu met and named this guy a bit after he'd gone from "oh god this is so scary" to "I'm so unbelievably done with this bullshit" when dealing with this sort of magic nonsense.
It also helps that kos'dwua goes out of it's way to appear "beautiful", which makes it way easier to not instantly dub it a horrifying thing
A conjunction between kos, meaning complain, and idwua, a word for glass/crystall and also used as an adjective for fragile things
