She never had stopped completely wondering.
"I love the way you laugh." // karen
Ashleigh smiled at Karen, shrugging a little. “Thanks, but it’s not nice like your laugh. Your laugh is perfect.” The brunette reached over and grabbed the soccer captain’s hand, looking into her eyes. “Thank you for always making me laugh.”
Do It (16) - Karen/Ashleigh
AU: My muse sneaks up behind yours to nip them on the ear
What people didn’t know about Ashleigh was that she was kind of cheeky, and she really liked being abrupt and surprising people. Especially her girlfriend. She and Karen had been dating for a month and a half, and it had been the best time of her life, she’d never felt so happy about anything ever. The brunette sat on the bleachers as she watched Karen play soccer, as she easily passed the ball around opponents and into the goal. It was the most satisfying thing to sit in the crowd and cheer for the one that she loves, even if it was just a practice and she was the only one watching.
Her eyes watched Karen carefully as she kicked the ball past the goalie’s waiting hands, causing her to stand up and cheer again. Their eyes locked briefly as the blonde flashed a tired smile, running up to the bench for a drink. Ash then knew that this was her time to attack. She sneakily climbed off the bleachers and tiptoed down the stairs, glad that Karen’s back was to her. There she was, joking with all of her friends, and Ash smiled at how cute she was, before realised that the plan had to go in motion.
Ashleigh took a few steps forward, before running up quietly and wrapping her arms around Karen’s waist, nipping her on the ear softly. Karen let out a yelp as her friends around her laughed, along with Ashleigh. “Ash!” Karen screamed jokingly. “You can’t just surprise me like that.”
“I know,” the brunette smirked, leaning in for a quick peck on the lips. “But I wanted to.”
Do It (25) - Karen/Ashleigh
Semi-AU: My muse kisses yours for the first time
To say that Ashleigh was nervous would be a bit of an understatement, especially since she hadn’t really been kissed before. She really liked Karen, a lot more than people knew, but that didn’t mean that she was completely excited. What if she wasn’t good enough or she screwed something up? It would ruin everything.
The brunette was sitting on the floor of her friend’s dorm room, doodling down music notes and lyrics for a song she was working on. Humming along with the tune that she had written down, she didn’t notice Karen slip down next to her, watching what she was doing. Ashleigh realised that it was now or never – she had to kiss her.
“Karen?” the brunette asked, her friend looking up with a concerned look in her eyes. “Is it okay if I try something? It’ll be quick, I promise.” When Karen nodded, Ashleigh took a deep breath, placing her pencil down next to her notebook. Leaning over her work, she placed a peck on Karen’s lips, feeling her nerves washing away. She pulled away, a blush spreading across her face.
“You know, I really liked that,” Karen smiled, brushing a piece of hair out of Ashleigh’s eyes.
“Yeah, me too.”
