i can’t remember if i’ve ever actually said that Tal and Vree are adopted siblings? they are. and now they’re enemies because i love drama. Tal ran away from home without Vree while they were younger, which is why she holds a grudge against them now.

also, i literally JUST realized that all the main party members in this story are the classes they are specifically because of the influence of a super cool woman who taught them their class skills and whom they really admire and look up to. which is DEFINITELY an intentional parallel and not lazy writing on my part.

So how would tal's deity react to their inevitable dating questions about cylox?

fun fact: Tal is the absolute WORST at knowing when someone likes them. they’re always pestering their surrogate mom- i mean, deity- with questions even at the best of times, but Kasilma would REALLY have to put up with a lot once they start falling for Cylox.

I originally thought Tal’s deity would be Eldath, but then I decided it’d be more fun to make one up! This is Kasilma. She’s only nice to Tal. They’ve known each other since Tal was 8, and they’re basically the only worshipper she has left, so she cares about them a lot, but it’s clear she has a scary side. Not much at all is known about her, but Tal is extremely loyal to her and wants to spread her message so more people will worship her.

- Awoken by Tal in the woods 14 years ago; has very few memories of anything before that. No mentions of her in current mythology or history. She’s very powerful and kinda vicious, but can’t physically interfere except through Tal.
