Chapter 1 - Yell It Out yet Keep It In [1: A Group Meeting]
Sometime after the bear had left us all alone, Brenda, Trisha, and I made our way to the cafeteria. It was empty and I didn’t expect anyone to come in for a while. My internal clock told me it was getting late, anyway.
“Would the two of you like some snacks? I can go prepare something if you wish.”
“I can’t say I’m the most peckish at the moment.”
“I don’t really...feel hunger. And my charge is in no desperate need of refilling for now.”
Prologue - A Wonderland of Despair! [2: Meet Brenda McAlister!]
I boot up slowly, feeling tired and groggy. My processors take a moment to work at full capacity. But when they were finally running completely, I could take in my surroundings.
I was in a small room, empty except for two things. On one side of the room was a chess table. Under it is a box I recognized as my own. It’s where I kept my chess pieces and basic supplies for maintenance. On the other side of the room was a charging port that I knew was made for me as one of the ways for me to keep my energy optimal.
“Where am I..?” The room was not one I was family with. Making my way over to the door, I find that it opens with ease. I was happy I was created with retractable arms. So I open the door and leave the room. Now maybe I could—
“KIYAAAAAAAA!”
A girl was standing outside my room and I had almost run into her without even seeing her.
“OH GOODNESS!”
“I-I’m so sorry! I didn’t see you there! Please don’t be afraid! My name is Kasperov, although everyone just calls me Kas, I just woke up here! I don’t even know where I am! The last thing I remember was entering Hope’s Peak and—“
“Wait, so...you’re from that school, too?”
“Oh, what a relief! I thought I was going to be here all alone! Oh, I’m so sorry for my rudeness! Allow me to formally introduce myself! I’m Brenda McAlister, the SHSL Nanny!”
So...she was a student from HPA as well? How...incredibly interesting!
“You’re a student, too? Oh, well, I’m the SHSL Chess Player! Oh, you have to tell me all about your talent! I want to know everything! I love learning new information!”
“That sounds like a marvelous time! But first, we really must look around some more. Maybe we’ll find some staff.”
She had a point. And I think the hallway turned down at the end. I suppose the two of us would just have to search together. But I was absolutely fine with that!

Chapter 2: Dream a Dream of Life Gone By [20: Where For Art Thou?]
I tried to get J up and out of bed, but he never did respond to me. Not wanting to be late for the breakfast meeting, I make my way to the cafeteria in order to join those that were there. It just seemed to be the usual people that always showed up.

Chapter 2: Dream a Dream of Life Gone By [18: Dinner Talk]
Dinner started as the day got later. We all gathered in the cafeteria like usual to talk with one another and eat. Some of us weren’t there at the moment and others left once they had their food, but that didn’t get in the rest of our way.
Chapter 2: Dream a Dream of Life Gone By [17: Free Time Event 1]
With everyone allowed to leave after the motive, we were left on our own to do what we wanted for the rest of the day. That left me with my thoughts about what had happened today.
