Ask Rin!
Rin finally getting around to a few of those letters she got!
@gcuntlets: "I got a question! How do you do anything when you're so short? Do you just like carry a step ladder around or something?"
“..... It’s quite easy, you see. We carry around long legs to do our bidding under the pretense of ‘companion’.” Rin’s ears were flattened and her voice coated with sarcasm. “... in all seriousness, we have our ways. I can use my glider to boost me up if needed.”
@projecteer: Miku: “So, um... I was, I was wondering if you ever invented or built something for a friend? I-I mean I know your busy, just wondering if you built something to help others.”
“Heimer and I have built many things over the years, but most of it is commission work. We have helped touch up a few things from friends now and again. Unfortunately, due to the manner of my work, making things for friends isn’t easy. Little trinkets like steam floaters or illusionary holo displays that make little butterflies or other animals dance about. Nothing special.”
@kassxdin: Any future goals?
“They are always changing with my work. Currently I wish to continue my study of hextechnology and making sure the... use of it stays in good hands. Also, keeping up with my glider so that I can continue traveling and learning of the world around me. There’s always so much information to absorb!”
@tynen-nalo:"My apprentice has been acting rather discouraged lately. Do you think, if you have the free time, that you could pay her a visit sometime? She looks up to you and I think you would brighten up her mood just by saying 'hi'."
“Your apprentice? Oh, uh, sure, I didn’t know anyone looked up to me. I guess I could come say hi.”
@flag-and-drag: "Miss Rin, what is the flame that inspires you and your works every day?"
A very soft expression with a gentle smile spread across Rin, “Life.”
@unagiboy-arts-and-doodles “would you and the professor would join me and little sis for lunch? “
“I’m not sure about Heimer, as he usually stays nose deep in his work. I’ll try asking him, though. I don’t mind having lunch with people once in a while.”
@hammerly-lost:"You mind uuuuuh holding this hammer for me? For absolutely no particular reason..."
Rin blinked, knowing all too well the weight of that hammer. “Uh, no thanks? There’s absolutely no way I could even lift it. Your strength is beyond me, Poppy.”
@gladiatorgod12: “What is the most enjoyable thing about flying? Least? Most dangerous thing you've done? “
The yordle looked absolutely giddy to answer this one. Her ears perked as she spoke in a rather loud tone. “Everything! The adrenaline is absolutely amazing to feel! You go rushing through the skies and it’s like every part of you knows exactly what you NEED to do! You feel FREE and ALIVE! The most dangerous thing I’ve ever done was testing the theory that my glider was reactive to my emotions and actual mental capacity compared to what I could physically force it to do. It made me understand magic just a bit more that day.... but uh, to test it.. I kind of had to just jump. And I mean.. jump-with-no-way-of-surviving-if-it-failed kind of jump. I had to force an intense emotion... Heimer wasn’t too happy with me about that. Luckily, I’m not dead!”
