What do you think about polish Arthur Lester. What do you think about Arthur screaming a solid "KUUUURWAAAAAAA" whenever anything happens to him. Is this anything because it was revealed to me in a dream
Haha yeah I think about polish Arthur normal amount of time (looking at my polish malev au)
I can think of him in two different versions as polish. Either, it's like in canon and he came to US but instead of being British he's from Poland (still more of an au than hc for me). Or it's just my polish au where everything takes place in Poland for comedic value (I have the same thing for tma. It's Archiwa Magnusiewicza and there's Bożydar Szymas xd)
Anyway Arthur obviously would be Artur. Lester doesn't sound out of place I can imagine someone in Poland with that surename. Lesterowicz, Lesner, Laster or Lesterski could also work.
I think the cursing would be so much more fun though! Like he would say a lot more than just kurwa (no hate to kurwa, nothing rolls off the tongue so nicely and conveys this much emotion as her). He could scream every possible iteration of pierdolę!!! In different escalation levels! "Pierdolę nie robię" - Artur at some point probably. Also Chryste Panie, Jezus Maryja, Dobry Boże etc would be in use obviously. And!!! He could use some fun old timey words, cholibka, klawo, huncwot, tłumok, niedorajda.. there's many more but I can't think of them now. Also, I talked about it in one of my posts, but I think John would use Arthur's name in wołacz whenever he wants to be obnoxious >:]
This is so fun to think about, especially from a language perspective ^^ unfortunately Arthur's spelling of Anna Stanczyks name forever stopped me from hc him as polish, but my silly aus can stay ignorant to that fact (maybe there Anna Stanczyk would be the only non polish character xd)
