i hold this finished piece dear to my heart not only because it was my first finished story but because of the experience writing it! i’m not all the great at expressing my thoughts or emotions so this was especially difficult to have to put my imagination into words. i knew i wanted to create this ethereal and whimsical feel and years back i went through my attached to baekhyun phase so of course he was casted as lead. honestly i think all my works needs to be looked back and touched upon, some editing and grammar checks or completely redone but i don’t like to because it all feels very raw. this is a piece that young kat has created and put out into the world in her very own words in her very own work, and i’m proud of her. i’m always up for explaining my works and giving insight but i like them just as they are instead of redoing them.

my favorite project aside from all the others, probably because i’ve received great feedback from it lol. it really started with just an idea, i never expected it do well or go so far with it, i was just inspired by the hybrid phase on tumblr a few years back. but this has been very fun for me to write and come up with these ideas, and overall i’m struggling and working hard to properly express the relationships between members and readers as my oc’s. when i get excited about a project i don’t really take time to really outline my ideas and form a great plot because i always rush in. so i’m hoping to take my time with this so i can express my emotions and intentions with the stories.

not to toot my own horn, but your girl outdid herself with this one ahaahaaa

i am creating an actual story based on this oneshot thanks to the many fans who have inspired me to do so (y’all know who y’all are thank you so much) but the oneshot itself i remember was very fun to write! when Yongguk released his song yamazaki i was intoxicated with the aesthetic and feel and YONGGUK so i immediately got to work, envisioning myself in the role. i didn’t expect this one to do well either, i just want to get my imagination out there to look back on later and remember that feeling.

kalon is actually a new and very fresh story i’m working on but i remember laying down in bed at night and playing out the story in my head and i was going to create this. it was that feeling like damn, i really don’t want to forget this because i’m onto something really good here. as i progress this story i’m hoping to see some positive and critical feedback so please stay tuned and support my new works!

and finally last but not least my other blog oxhaven! it’s fucking great over there and needs more love! oxhaven is my side blog that features and strictly caters to my muses. i’m constantly working on it and creating it to be a nice fan blog where everyone can come and fucking spazz out. it’s growing everyday with new ideas and new members added to the party and i’m all for suggestions - just don’t leave us hanging! talk to the muses talk to me, tell us your wishes whatever you want! it’s open for drabbles and requests with whatever fantasy you have in mind, and my next chapters and ideas pop up there first before i post them here on promisesox. and soon, i’m strictly going to keep my muses stories only at the blog. so come over, say hello, and tell us your wish

What position does your character sleep in? ( i.e; stomach, side, back, etc. ) Describe why they do this – optional.

He tends to sleep in the fetal position (legs tucked up against his chest, arms folded in) because it makes him as small as possible and hopefully unnoticeable. It only works if he has enough pillows though since his horns curve around the sides of his head- if he doesn’t he sleeps on his back and is Not Comfortable.

Does your character have any noteworthy features? Freckles? Dimples? A scar somewhere unusual? etc.

wheezes... Kat has a lot... Most notably are his horns, they’ve been hollowed out and replaced with computer components. His brain also has several implants, as well as his eyes. His legs have both been replaced from about 2 inches past the crotch down - he has skins over them to make them look real, though. He’s got numerous scars around his hips, ribs, and wrists as well.

Does your character dream or are their nights filled with an empty blackness? Describe a dream they’ve had or a night they couldn’t sleep and what they did to preoccupy their time.

Katkin wishes his dreams were nonexistent. Most of the time he has nightmares, reoccurring dreams about past events that have happened. When they get too bad he just stays up and plays games. He doesn’t suffer from insomnia, but he does go a couple nights without sleep sometimes because of them.

Have they ever been so overwhelmed they had to stop and take a break from something?

Any time he has to do anything with his legs it takes him a few hours. That’s after days of amping himself up to do it. Otherwise, with the implants in his brain coupled with the gear in his horns he’s very good at compartmentalizing tasks to perform multiple things at a time, as long as they’re hands-free.

If your character was allowed to murder one person without any consequences, who would that person be and why?

As ornery as Katkin is he doesn’t usually have the stomach for actual murder, however if given the chance he absolutely would without hesitation or remorse kill the admiral he was serving under. There’s a laundry list of reasons.....
