When the Party's Over - Billie Eilish Don't you know I'm no good for you? I've learned to lose. You can't afford to. Tore my shirt to stop you bleeding, But nothing ever stops you leaving. Quiet when I'm coming home and I'm on my own. I could lie, say I like it like that, like it like that. I could lie, say I like it like that, like it like that. Don't you know too much already? I'll only hurt you if you let me. Call me friend, but keep me closer, (Call me back) And I'll call you when the party's over.
He hadn't been around family in a long time. Longer than he could really remember, if he was honest, aside from the occasional crossing of paths with a small handful of his mother's siblings from time to time over the millennia. Still, a chance encounter while he was in the Underworld had him feeling a little homesick, even if he'd never really had a concept of what a real home felt like, and he'd gotten the most recent address for one of the only people Lysander had ever felt any closeness to. The house was empty when he showed up, so he waited, his eyes lighting up when a familiar face finally came home.
"Hey there, Kitty Kat."
Of all the faces she could have seen sitting on her porch, Lysander had not been on the list. Even after Eris had come and gone again, no mention of Lys had been made and Kat had thought that he just...didn't want to be around her anymore.
Her features lit up with absolute joy, the bags she had been carrying dropping quickly to the ground as she darted up the steps to make sure he was really there.
"Lys!!! When did you get here?! How did you find me? WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!" she rattled off, giving him no chance to answer between questions as she touched his shoulders, his cheeks, and his hair in quick succession.
"Come in, come in! How long are you staying?"
