Kat was pacing like a caged lion as she waited for whatever punishment was coming her way. She knew it was coming. She had been lucky for it to have not been as soon as she brought back. But her detox probably kept many of the sub breakers away. That’s the only thing she could think kept them at bay for so long.
She watched the blonde enter her space and straightened her shoulders, standing a little taller. “So, they sent you this time? I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised.” Cara had been one to come to her after she escaped before. It wasn’t a real shock but it had definitely been a while.
