Once the other seemed to be getting closer, the spirit lowered his head, grey-ish blue eyes narrowing as he took a small step back. While he had been able to revert back to a calmer state not too long ago, he couldn’t be sure if it would change again soon enough. Ichimokuren’s actions were not mistaken- Yamakaze just didn’t trust himself.
But he was able to relax somewhat once the other took a seat upon a nearby stump.
“..I’m alright. Still recovering.” The answer was short but to the point. Never had he been the kind to talk too much, instead preferring to keep silent. His gaze had went to the dragon that always seemed to be accompanying the god for a moment- an eyebrow raising just barely before lowering back, resuming the forest spirit’s usual expression- blank and generally unreadable.
He did appreciate the concern, though.
“What about you?” As he spoke once more, there seemed to be a bit of hesitation in his voice- perhaps not only did he mean Ichimokuren himself, but also the others. Having been reduced to a feral state due to Sealand’s magicks, he had kept himself far from the other forest spirits despite still wanting to keep them safe- mostly in fear of lashing out at them while he wasn’t fully himself.
