ironically, shinigami eyes being subject to a huge hate train kinda made it better for its actual purpose. previously, due to how many people (notably non-transfems) used it, it was very vulnerable to getting hijacked. just didnt really have the ability to moderate that much traffick.
but now its pretty much just transfems who use it again. making it much easier to handle, and thus, much more effective for keeping the people who need it safe. kinda funny
