When Teia had finally made her way back to the Diamond, she'd expected more of a greeting than normal; she was finally returning after a week spent fortifying their supply routes in the countryside surrounding Treviso. She had expected to see relief and possibly even a small spark of excitement in the normally stoic Fifth Talon's expression. What she hadn't expected was this.
Viago knew her by her gait, just the same as she knew him. She hadn't needed to say a word before he was turning from the map laid out on the large mahogany table towards her. Teia had smiled, opened her mouth—perhaps to say something sweet, or something witty; whatever it was it eluded her now—but before she could utter a word Viago was there. Pulling her into his arms, burying his nose in her hair, and just breathing. Teia was overwhelmed in the best way possible—unable to speak, unable to move, held against Viago and holding him in return. After both an eternity and barely a moment Viago had released her, instead taking her by the hand and quickly leading her away from the watchful eyes of the gathered murder.
Through the rafters, out the open window, and up to the highest peak of the Cantori Diamond that towered over the city. Viago lounged in the recessed window, Teia curled protectively in his lap. They still hadn't spoken a word between them, attending to more urgent matters. Urgent matters being kisses traded back and forth—some sweet, some heated, but all offered and accepted willingly. There were many matters to attend to, reports to be written and plans to be formed, but that could wait a few minutes more. The Talons had a silent conversation to finish.
I realized I don't think I ever shared this here. I don't write much as it's difficult for me to do anything longer or more involved than this. But I'm proud of the little bits I've managed ♡ divider by @/saradika-graphics

ok so. my favorite favorite thing I've ever done is lost to time. I haven't managed to find any pictures of it. but one summer in like, middle school maybe? I used a grid from picture to wall and hand-drew a picture of Eeyore on my bedroom wall. then I painted it with acrylics. it was beautiful. perfect. and I miss it dearly. I really wish I had a photo memory of it. it's long been painted over.
my favorite thing I've done that I can show would be this art of Teia and Viago. idk if I'll ever do anything prettier.
