Toppat Week May 19: Design a Toppat

Kate Marlow, a stagecoach-robbing Toppat who was active during the 1880s in West Mesa, Arizona. Great-grandmother of Andrew Brandt, a current member of the Toppat Clan’s medical division. Kate had a son and a daughter, John and Martha. Martha left the Toppats without telling anyone but she and Kate still kept in touch.

So I came up with... an OK idea. Not great, but it's something I suppose! Anyway, just to celebrate the next anniversary of ItA, I decided

And just for fun here’s Kate with a desert eagle, even though I don’t think they were invented until 100 years later.

Wanted to talk some more about Kate (a Toppat I made for Toppat Week) after she’d left her outlaw days behind and settled down after ten years of robbing banks and stagecoaches. She was one of the members responsible for securing a lot of money and valuables for the Toppat Clan, some of which would eventually be stored in the vault on the airship.

By the time Kate settled down, photography had come a long way and she didn’t have to sit still forever to get her photo taken, which was good because she didn’t like dressing up all nice and doing her hair.

She wanted her family members to have nice photos to look at later on so she got nice photos taken every once in a while.

This is the photo that actually went in the album. She hadn’t been completely ready but she just said heck it and didn’t want to do a retake.
