its nutcracker season y'all
not a hiatus necessarily but... the next few weeks (month?) are going to be busy! we're finishing up a big build at work this week.. then a week of in studio costume runs before i'm off to a wedding in the outer banks the weekend before tech (legit driving down thursday after work/friday morning, turning back around and driving back sunday/monday and then immediately going into tech on Tuesday -sob-) but luckily once i make it through all of that... I get a fun friends & yarn & antiques weekend and seeing one of my favorite shows in DC!
i feel like when I say things like this I end up being wildly inspired and active so... who knows?
the frustration of having about a dozen half finished comments sitting in my drafts and every time I try to finish them my brain shuts off entirely
got sucked in by some 19th lithographs of medieval costume this weekend and now realizing I have 7 prints I need to figure out how to get framed and still pay rent 🫠
two weeks… gotta make it through two more weeks 🫠
Currently rewatching “The Gilded Age” and remembering someone described this as the lowest stakes show of all time and what a comfort that is and… agreed. Larry wants to be an architect but his dad is mad! The butler lied to Agnes! Marian’s hats get exceedingly more terrible as the season goes!
today my boss told me in front of a room full of people my hair looked bad so… today’s going great.
