starter for @katexrenner //
Daryl leaned against the tree near the camp, just outside of Atlanta, listening to his older brother drag on and on about the in’s and out’s of their plan to rob this camp soon quietly.
“Ya listenin’, baby brother?” Merle asked, and Daryl grunted with a little nod, eyes focusing back and forth from the crowd of the group back to his brother. There were a few families, a couple of kids, all types of folk. Merle didn’t seem to like any single one of them, ‘cept a blonde called Andrea. And they’d both taken to keeping an eye on a woman, Carol somethin’, an unspoken agreement to beat some sense into her husband if they had a chance. (”Reminds me of ma, ain’t she?” Merle had muttered on their third day with the group, and Daryl stayed silent, eerily familiar with the situation with that family. The husband was obviously had the woman on a tight leash, and it had definitely rubbed the Dixon’s the wrong way.) She was kind and offered to wash their clothes along with the rest of the groups.
The others seemed weary of the two brothers, and he didn’t exactly blame them, since the plan was the wait this thing out for a bit with them and take what the could, leave during the night. It wasn’t easy since there was a damn cop here. Just their luck, an epidemic happens, and the group they end up with to ride it out with has some sonuvabitch sheriff or somethin’.
Daryl often kept his eyes down, following quietly whatever Merle had said or did.
@devicus liked for a starter from Kate! Kate prided herself on the fact that she wasn’t afraid of anything, well except for losing her. She knew her lifestyle hadn’t been as clean cut and moral as most people, but it’s how she made ends meet and how she could afford their penthouse suite. As she climbed into bed beside them she curled up on her side. “Can go away for the weekend?” It wasn’t safe for them there and once she had gotten word that her rival hacker was trying to track her location she wanted to take her somewhere she’d be safe.

☁: Our muses go sledding.
“If this is the only way to keep you from going out there and kicking that douche’s ass, well then fuck it.” Jessica is annoyed as she following the young woman up the snow hill in the nearest park, this is the fifth night she finds the kid trying to fight somebody and each time Jessica is trying to explain to her that you can’t just go around kicking ass in New York City. She’s got a warm belly from her night spent in the bar across the street and she’s willing to slide down the damn hill if it will keep her off the streets for just a minute.
“I’ll do it, I’ll go down the hill in the fucking sled but if you so much as listen to Police radio tonight, I’m going to kick your ass myself.” Jessica demands as she’s freezing in her rundown jeans and jacket, she should probably invest in a better winter wardrobe but it isn’t like she’s pooling with money. Her hot breath is visible in the cold night’s air and she rubs her hands in front of them both as she’s now looking at the distance she’s supposed to travel from where she stands at the stop of the hill.
“I’m so serious about the ass kicking by the way.” The tipsy brunette warns as she takes her seat on the dumb sled, she’s about to let out another complain when Kate launches her down the hill and she’s suddenly not so tough as she screaming all the way down.
“Shiiiiiiitttttt!”
