FIVE YEARS LATER: JASPER and KATELYN
Jasper and Katelyn had a little girl, GEMIMA, or ‘Gem’ (pictured with her adult version) and adopted a dog called Ladybug. Things are going well for the couple, and they are considering trying for another baby when Gem is a bit older.
Gemima is now 3 and a half.
FOUR MONTHS LATER...
Katelyn: Hi boys! It’s so good to see you!
Ridley: Great to see you too, Katelyn.
Katelyn: Come in, Gem has been talking non-stop about seeing Orwell today!
Ridley: How’ve you been, Kat?
Katelyn: Good thanks. Work has been a bit stressful, but that’s to be expected, I suppose. You? Heard from Cora lately?
Ridley: She heard back about that job, she got it!
Katelyn: She did? That’s fantastic! I can’t believe they’re moving to Ireland. Are they all going?
Mason: Yeah, end of next month. They’ll be around for Spooky Day and then they’ll be off.
Ridley: Want to be settled in time for Snowflake Day.
Katelyn: That’s fair. I just can’t believe it! That’s so exciting for her!
Jasper: Katelyn, I promise to love and cherish you. To support you in your decisions, to celebrate your successes and to share your worries from this day until my last day.
