im still laughing because when clarke was talking about bellamy to echo and using the past tense i forgot she thought he was dead. i thought she was just being a huge bitch and saying that bellamy "used to love echo" and didnt anymore i was SO satisfied

The noise that I just made. But let me be clear though, I was still satisfied when E/o told Clarke that Bellamy was alive. Clarke’s face? Her expression mirrored Bellamy’s in 5.03 when he found out Clarke was alive. E/o knows Clarke’s feelings. She knows exactly how to push people’s buttons. And don’t think for a second that she missed Clarke’s “go save him”. And just all the parallels to actual canon romantic ships? L.exa telling Clarke not to repeat the mistakes she made? There’s substance in that.

Now I’m just curious about the b/e relationship. Something happened in that end scene with the rover. It was awkward as shit. And if you want to hear of a disturbing theory that I hope is far from the truth, you should bug @flawlessbellamy into sharing

Yeah the hug felt so rushed and not in a desperate “I missed you I love you” kind of way, but like just a hug.. I definitely hyped the hug in my head too... those few seconds in 5.03 seemed even more emotional to me than the reunion ?? But yeah I’ve been trying to read so many peoples viewpoints on here to maybe understand it differently.. I think how it was filmed also factored in to how I perceived it

I agree with you. I loved the hug but it didn’t live up to my expectations, which may be my own fault. So @bellameblake and @johnmurphe loved the hug/moment for all the reasons why the hug is amazing to us shippers in the first place. The staring, the fact that this is the first time they’re really together in 6 years, and, of course, the touching. The way Clarke never fails to tuck her chin into his shoulder, his hand on her waist, the way Bellamy is just holding her and just....they’re just basically touching each other a lot and they loved it, I definitely do too. One thing to mention though, is they didn’t read a lot of the spec. Brooke didn’t know that there was definitely going to be a hug at all because she’s a good bean who stays away from all spoilers (unlike this problematic hoe). Hopefully that gave you a little more insight. I still hope we get more next episode. Any kind of catch up I will take

honestly my ideal order of events for season 5 is bellamy and echo end things, BELLAMY SHAVES HIS BEARD, and then he end up with clarke bc if they start making out i wanna be able to see that jawline again lmao
