I'm Evelina and my favorite color is green (specifically apple green). I multiship shamelessly but my current obsession is definitely sterek. I love Ben and Jerry's strawberry cheesecake. I do have a cat; a gray one whose name is Dexter. He's four years old and super cuddly. He also drools a lot when he's comfortable.

ugh, me too. I personally ID as queer, but I always end up going by bisexual because it’s more likely to not make people ask questions I can’t answer, even though it’s also more likely to make them not take me seriously.

I've started to go by queer more often because it's nice and short and sums up the fluidity of sexuality, but there is no German equivalent of it and I feel like using an English term just makes me seem really pretentious, Idk. But yeah, the way bisexuality/multisexuality in general is dismissed even in contexts where homosexuality would be accepted is astonishing (and not in a good way).

1. Are you happy with your life the way it is right now? That's… a really hard question. I'm not happy with the way it is in the sense that I don't want my life to stay this way - I have no job, no partner, no prospects for my future after New Year's. But I'm doing much better than I was a couple months back, on the road to a better place and trying to make changes, and so given the circumstances I'm happy I'm on that road, at least. But I do need to keep moving, I don't want to stay here. 2. What’s your favorite day of the week? Why? Oh god I have NO idea. I'm unemployed and on sick leave, so my life has little structure now, which means any day is more or less the same for me. So… let's make it Monday, because then I can watch Sunday's new OUAT ;). 3. What’s the last book you read? You're lucky, I just got back from a weekend away so I finished Good Omens (Terry Pratchett/Neil Gaiman) there, and I'm currently reading Zeven Dagen Zonder ('Seven days without', Monika Peetz) and De Engelenmaker ('The Angel Maker', Stefan Brijs) 4. Would you want to be a celebrity, if you had the choice? Tricky one :p. But I've thought long and hard about this, and I'm gonna say yes. Because it still opens doors, and gives you unique opportunities. Your life will of course not be yours completely anymore, but I've never been a very private person to start with, and if I look at Chris Colfer or Darren Criss, whose private lives we know relatively little about, I think I could live with that. Plus, I really want to do Dancing With The Stars. 5. Do you believe in karma? Yes (I'm interpreting this as 'if you do good to other people, they will do good to you', not sure if there's other interpretations but I feel everyone has their own version of these concepts). That's not to say the world is fair, and you'll always be treated right if you treat others right, or no bad things are going to happen to you if you do. But if you go around being an asshole, no one's gonna show up on your doorstep with soup when you're sick even if you've won the lottery. 6. Do you save money or spend money? Save. Well, spend, now, since my unemployment fee isn't sufficient to cover my expenses, but I'm a saver. I'm Belgian. First thing you get when you're born in Belgium is a savings account (I'm serious here) so there's no escaping it really. I was born this way! (that's not to say I won't spend it on something I think is worth it. but it's gotta be worth it.) 7. Your favorite quote? I really like that one at this stage of my life. 8. What’s the most expensive thing you’ve ever bought? My house. No question about it :D. 9. What do you usually have for breakfast? I really like oatmeal with brown sugar? But it depends… currently the goal is just to have breakfast ;). 10. What type of weather do you prefer? Cooooooooold! Snow. I love snow. And I love cold. Actually I don't like cold, but I can't stand heat. But I do love snow. 11. Do you think a person has to love their parents and/or their children? Why/why not? I don't think you have to love your parents. I don't think you have to love anyone. It kind of feels wrong to say, especially with parents towards their children, but you can't really force anyone to love someone else, can you? That doesn't mean you don't have to respect your parents, or parents don't have the duty to take care of their children - because both of those things are still true. But you can't and you shouldn't force *love*.

Are you happy with your life the way it is right now? Sometimes I am because I have a job which lets me be independent and help my mom but there are times when I just stop and I keep hearing that line from "It Take a Fool to Remain Sane" over and over again... Wasn't life supposed to be more than this? But then I remind myself that I'm only 21 I just don't have to give up. So I guess I'm about 80% happy right now which is not that bad. What’s your favorite day of the week? Why? It used to be Tuesday but now it's Thursday because it's my day off and I can write or study or hung out with my family. What’s the last book you read? Dubliners by James Joyce. I loved it. Would you want to be a celebrity, if you had the choice? Yes because it would mean having the chance of making an impact, of being able to reach out to people and change their lives and having the means to try and change what you don't like about the world. Also, it would be faboulus :D Do you believe in karma? Yes. Do you save money or spend money? When I get my pay-check, I usually save 60% of it and if I want to buy something I use the remaining 40%. Sometimes I manage to save up almost everything. Your favorite quote? "Be the change you want to see in the world" I think I was about 10 or 11 the first time I ever heard it and it stuck with me because it's beautiful. You can't complain about things if you don't make the first effort of changing what you deem wrong. So I've always lived by it. I treat people like I want to be treated, I don't judge because I believe that no one should, and I try to do what I can to support what I believe in. You can't just complain, you've got to act. What’s the most expensive thing you’ve ever bought? I guess a jacket of 50€. What do you usually have for breakfast? Milk with coffee and biscuits. What type of weather do you prefer? Rainy and cold. Or just cold. Autumn and Winter are my favourite seasons. Perfect weather. Makes me want to read and write and listen to music. Do you think a person has to love their parents and/or their children? Why/why not? You don't have to love anyone. Just loving someone because they gave you birth sounds wrong. I mean when you're little you love your parents because they're your parents but growing up it changes or at least it changed for me. I think if you don't get support, if you don't feel accepted or loved, like you have someone to rely on, then it's hard to love them how you used to. I used to love my dad when I was little, I remember hating my mom because she sent him away. Then I grew up, realized dad had walked away, that dad was just a father not a daddy, that he had chose to make another family, that had betrayed my mom, betrayed us, and it changed everything. My dad for me it's just an acquaintance, I don't love him. My mom is my whole world. When I was younger man, I always said I hated her because she never backed me up, but then I realized that she just expected me to act on what I said I wanted to do so that I could earn her support. Now I love her more than I can possibly explain, she did so much for us. As for having to love your children. I can't imagine not loving part of me but I know that that's not always the case. Sometimes parents can't separate their kids from the person you had them with. I've seen mothers hating their children because their husbands or partners have left them and the kids were a remainder. I've seen people giving up for adoption their babies because they had been raped and didn't want to keep a remainder of the abuse, and I think that's an act of love because they gave them away in fear of hating them, of having to raise a remainder of what had happened knowing that perhaps every time you looked at them they would remind you of what happened and you couldn't possibly love them like they deserved. I'm not sure you can say that a parent has to love their child but I know that for me, it would impossible not to love my own child.
