All the difficult questions! ugh how about enemies to friends to lovers with mutual pining? I enjoy the slight angst of two oblivious idiots pining after the other but a well developed enemies to friends to lovers will own my heart

I actually have three whole WIPs going now, so this will be interesting...

I’m gonna share a couple of lines and not from the very end because then it would be “Childermass kissed [insert name here]” which appears to be where two out of the three have stopped at the moment. 

WIP 1 - nicknamed “Soft Boy Lascelles”

“I will not,” Lascelles said softly, in a resigned sort of voice. “I do not know what to think, but I believe what it is you are telling me. You do not strike me as someone who is particularly good at lies.”

“For what it is worth,” Childermass said, “Now, neither do you” 

WIP 2 - nicknamed “Married Boys”

Next to him, Segundus lay, curled upon his side, apparently asleep, but also shivering from the cold. He had thrown off his covers in the night, perhaps due to some bad dream. Childermass moved closer and wrapped the blankets around Segundus, and then, when his shivering did not stop, wrapped his arms around the man as well and curled his body against Segundus to warm him with his heat.

WIP 2 - “Lofton Cares”

And Crowley really did need help, with constructing a life outside of the one he was accustomed to. He needed a hobby or two and a new perspective, and it was Aziraphale’s job wasn’t it? To guide him toward finding those things?

He finished folding the chairs and closed up for the evening, resolving as he walked toward the bus stop to be the soul of chaste companionship and steadfast emotional support on Saturday.

Childermass is like w/e I've dealt with this before, gets Norrell's books, goes to pick the lock. Lascelles is like of COURSE you know how to pick locks, you're probably a criminal, are you stealing those books, omg rude. Maybe Childermass has to kiss him to shut him up. Maybe there's some sexy times against the shelves.

Marry: Segundus, because he is the sweetest. we would eat lots of bread and fix our SWOOSHES together and then we’d talk about magic and make sweet love before falling asleep together in the softest of beds.

Kiss: Childermass because I have to fuck Lascelles and I have to marry Segundus. SORRY CHILDERS YOU’RE STILL MY EVERYTHING! yes I am apologizing because he only gets a kiss.
