Ladies and Gents! The beautiful Katherine Amy! @katherineamyuk WoC: What are your musical influences? Katherine: A big influence on me is Above and Beyond. I used to listen to ‘Can’t Sleep’ over and over, was totally mesmerised by it. At the time I didn’t even know what genre it was I just loved the synths and the emotion. Tiesto’s ‘Adagio for Strings’ blew my little head off the first time I heard it, so much so my Dad went out and bought me a Cream CD the next day! WoC: What other Trance or EDM vocalist you admire and why? Katherine: I am always so blown away by the amazing vocal abilities of Katherine Ellis, such a powerful voice and larger than life personality. The singer of old school classic ‘Beautiful’, Marcella Woods, is another corker. WoC: What song of yours made you cry for real? Why? Katherine: haven’t cried over a song I’ve written, there have been a fair few written as a form of therapy though! The most heartfelt one is about loss of friendship, it’s a message to an old friend I didn’t have the courage to say in person. WoC: Would you rather experience a sharp pain in your side each time someone says your name or have a bell sound each time you are aroused? Katherine: I blush quite easily so having a bell going off every time I have a dirty thought would be pretty embarrassing for me!! I would have to say pain with my name but then I could just not tell anybody my name!! WoC: What is the coolest thing about “World of Caellus”? Katherine: Well the fact that you are supporting unknown artists and new music of course!! WoC: Thank you Katherine for taking part in this short and sweet interview.
