Spring 2014 Trends

With spring around the corner, okay, long block, it’s time to think about trends! So many color and print oriented spring/summer trends can be translated into your handbag of choice. Here are our favorites:

ORANGE

Right in time for the Season 2 premiere of Orange is the New Black, orange becomes the new black on and off the runway. We’re crushing hard on this bright hue that adds a pop of color to almost any outfit and is surprisingly easy to style. Match it to the orange lipstick beauty trend making the rounds, or a simple summer dress sans makeup.

If you’re looking to hit the trend head on, then Annabel Ingall’s Isabella tote is hard to miss. For those who only want to dip their toes into the trendy waters, Sorial’s Bijou muted orange bag with a snakeskin texture is pretty low key while nodding to high style.

In the Devil Wears Prada when Miranda Priestly retorts “Flowers? For spring? Groundbreaking” to the suggestion of a flower motif for a spring shoot, we can’t help but chuckle. Girlfriend’s got a point though. While it might not be shocking, when are flowers never in style for spring? We think never. There will always be tulips, sunflowers and lilies to be worn, but by incorporating them into a small accessory (like this clutch!) the motif is more manageable.
